Great job Paddy. I've never been asked to do a full retro fit like this but get quite a few new for old Tri-matic / GU Fercomatic swops up here in County Antrim. Not a cheap job!
Not too many of those fercomatics around my part of the world. I could count on one hand how many I've replaced over 15 years or so. There was a joinery in the North somewhere that used them on their doors.
good job there that's not as easy as you made it look...was asked to do the same on a door the size of the one on number 10 dwn st. but I work alone and would have never got the door off and back on so customer ended up going for mortice and nightlatch as they couldn't find anyone who would do it.
