My RTX 3090 died so I got an RTX 4080. It ended up blocking my 2nd PCIe slot so I'm no longer able to use my Elgato 4k60 Pro. I replaced it with an Elgato HD 60 X, but it doesn't support the OSSC's 960p output and the bob deinterlacing looks significantly worse for whatever reason, so I picked up a Retrotink 5x Pro.
First-world problems, huh?
Also, this game sucks.

Yea the 5x's motion adaptive deinterlacing does wonders for the PS2.

@@PvtHudsoni think it’s anything when it’s interlace but i mean the encoder you choose looks much crisp. Because idk i have this encoding on my Mac

@@MisterYeko ah I see. I use NVENC through OBS. I belive I used thae new AV1 encoder when I was testing this out.

@@PvtHudson ok i googled now which is the nvidia graphic encoding. Which mac unfortunately can't support nvidia (back then like in 2000 where supported but now not anymore). so usually they mostly used with radeon.

Question about the 1440p mode. When I use it on my 4k TV that does support 1440p. It puts the picture into a smaller box in the middle of the screen. It doesn’t use the full width of the TV screen like 1080p does. I also can’t use the remote to stretch/scale the image to take up the entire screen. Do you have this problem as well?

I think you might need to adjust the advanced timings instead of using the default settings. I used it with a 1440p monitor and looked up best settings for all my systems. Just about all of them required making changes to the horizontal and vertical resolutions.
