I love having a Ranger create-a-hero now. It does seem like the stat points are really low for created heroes, and I still wish there was a way to get AOE damage and/or an attack speed buff on a Captain of Gondor, but progress is progress.
Thanks recommended. I remember playing this when I was a kid, I still think I have the full collectors box in the attic somewhere. This mod looks so much fun! Does it have campaign as well or is it just custom battles? Might have to go dig it up just for this.
It has two demo missions of hobbit campaign. If you want to play realy good campaign you should also look at Age of the Ring mod which is doing full Lotr campaign
Waiting for IMLADRIS video. Edit: just played it with Imladris. Man they did destroy them completely in my opinion. There is no more upgraded arrows shooting from defensive towers but some crap low and impact arrows. Somehow now it feels like researching upgrades takes forever and you can’t use that guy to speed up the proves until you research absolutely everything in the library. Which by this point you will get overrun by enemy. Try playing bs brutal Mordor with Imladris and you will see what am I talking about. I wish I can revert to previous update....
They also ruined all of the new heroes, for example Theodred, his voice was amazing as William Wallace but they changed it with Men Custom Hero voice. Little things like this makes me sick. I think The Age of the Ring Mod is better now.
I have a problem with my Edain Mod it's running but I think there's like a screen and mini map missing art file or something cause the loading screen, the logo, and the palantir mini map are purple like purple screens.
Ive been playing BfM since it was released. Back then I was 8, now Iam fucking 22 years old and Iam still in love with this masterpiece. Very heartwarming to see that the game is kept alive with mods like Edain or AoR ♥ Shame on EA for losing the rights and not doing a third part
Is there a way to zoom the game out? Mine is like default zoomed in too much, also my FPS on all 3 games is stuck at like 30 FPS. I know it’s old but any way to optimize or increase?

Hey guys I've been playing vanilla since a very long time ago and only recently found out about Edain mod or any other mods for BFME (I know), however since I installed Edain 4.5, whenever i start skirmish maps with AI, all the AI are instantly defeated and I get instant victory after about just 5 seconds into the game, any ideas on how to fix this guys?
I rthink it goes with gondor because they are like the bizantine empire, if they have something good is the legacy of rome (numenor) and in army stuff, it would be the tactics and organization
You need to press left and right mouse button simultaneously and just drag it the way you want it (if I remember correctly - didnt touch this game for ages :D)
Okay I might be completely incapable, but I cant get this stuff to work, are there any good recent guides? I dont own the base games anymore. Basicly I can get RotWK to work through certain ways but Edain needs vanilla too and Im just so lost. Does anyone have a very good guide that holds my baby hands getting this to work?
No better, the siege shields are meant to tell the Elf factions to feck off. There is nothing more annoying than a Lothlorien Archer Army. Does it also block enemy hero arrow attacks?
fun fact mordor ai is bugged in the current version they wont use their summoned units from rhûn and harad until you come near them so they block their own command points until at some point they cant build anymore units
There is two ways, the 3rd age site though very unused so may not find people and then there’s gameranger, a free to download third party server that hosts a number of games including battle for middle earth 2 rise of the witch king and with the right settings Edwin is viable to play there aswell
