First of all, to those kind viewers who let me know about the audio issues with the previous upload, you're the best, thank you for the heads up! Re-uploaded and audio issues are all sorted, a dumb mistake I made during export was causing the issue, all fixed now!
So....with that out the way...
Hey Gang, hoping that you're all doing well!
I'm back with my latest review and one that's genuinely taken months to put together, this is a LONG review because Return To Dark Tower has so much to it that needs mentioning.
This game is the spiritual sequel and modern remake of Milton Bradley's Dark Tower, which I reviewed previously. And Restoration Games, my goodness, they threw everything at this. The minis are beautiful, the art gorgeous and the tower! It has lights, it makes sounds, it plays music depending on what you're doing! It's a real technological leap forward for what board games can be.
I knew I wanted the miniatures painted for this game and make the game look its best. The process of filming this though?....its been a nightmare! You can quite easily write into a script or review something that you've observed in a game through playing it numerous times...but for that thing to happen? and to catch it on camera? Yeah, it's taken an enormous amount of patience to capture everything about this game. I hope though that you enjoy it.
What else have I been up to? Well, I've enough reviews in the pipeline to bring me up to episode 99, and episode 100? It's been written and I've started to record it, I've made sure to pick something special for that one. Took charge of a few new games into the collection that I've been playing and enjoying and starting to pen down impressions and get reviews together for them too, games FAR easier to film than this! Enjoy this review and I'll be back soon with another
Keep on gaming,
Luke
