I drove across Texas to SW Florida in January, many years ago. No snow, but it was COLD!!!! Like Adam, my drive was SoCal to SW Florida. Took Amtrak back to San Diego, best trip I ever took, just fabulous doing the country via train.
On the other side of town, Gavin is walking around with his piping hot coffee and telling everyone the person at Starbucks thought his name was Adam, and that he is going to start spelling his name after saying it when ordering.

I used to also think weight in the trunk was better in snow/ice conditions. It actually only helps when you go from a stop position to moving. Once you’re travelling on a road, it actually makes it more difficult to stop.
We’ve watched you for a long time but your traumatic travel videos thru the ice were some of the best I’ve ever seen. So glad you are back in Celebration, we go there sometimes on our trips to Orlando and hope to run into you someday! Thank you for your rambling, glad you are back!
If you ever decide to pass through Yuma AZ again, look up Big Wes (roadside cowboy) at Westward Village RV park, he is our own local muffler man who was turned into a cowboy. Also the Cloud Museum in Bard, CA has a ton of old cars (model t's), equipment, and household stuff that goes back as far as 100 years or older. Make sure to look them up and call first, because they are not open during all times of the year.

Glad you made it to Florida safe and sound Adam. I've enjoyed watching your adventures over the years. I live very close to Celebration. You should consider getting yourself a Segway Ninebot with a handlebar attachment. For what you spend on renting scooters it would pay for itself soon. I walk my Greyhound with mine so he can run. I can't keep up with him on foot. They will go 13 miles between charges and are a great way to explore the area outside of a car. I would be glad to meet you and show you my Ninebot sometime. You could test it out.

You should patronize the small business owners such as the local delis you mentioned instead of the corporate slime balls aka Starbucks. Small businesses have suffered this past year under this horrendous toxic environment. Since you are a small business owner here, this should be a no brainer for you!

I was about 2 days behind you on the I-10. I was going from my house in Seattle to my house in Kissimmee. Seeing that you were still moving was scary and motivating at the same time. I arrived last night and so happy to be done with that drive!

You think Texas was bad, we here in Nebraska had below zero weather,snow fluffy type, ice slot of businesses closed up. We had fun Try it next winter come on up you are the next to handle real snow and ice here in OMAHA,NEBRASKA. TEXAS WAS A TESTING STATE FOR SNOW AND ICE. HAVE FUN. Adam welcome back to your place. If it were me I would do some small exploring, and maybe check out the town. And maybe go at a pace for a bit.. it sounds like you got some ideas which is a good thing. How about making a list of things that you want to do as a high priority, and things you want to do as a low probity? Just some ideas there. Okay that, and doing some fun things that you want to do.
