I've realized a few things while watching this adventure. 1. how empty my life has been having never been to a Buc-ees. 2. I will never not use the self-pumping option. 3. Flying is faster but not as much fun, and 4. We are lucky as heck to go on these journeys. Thanks for inviting us to join you. The answer is always an enthusiastic yes!
@@johnpatterson4272 IMHO, this trip was less than intelligent...I hope his parents and sister give him hell about it...and yeah, I am his Dad's age...watched like watching one of my kids doing something stupid and knowing they won't listen until they get hurt, then say they should have listened...almost not worth all the novitech ads, my word how much money are those folks spending?
That was a nightmare on I-10, staring Adam The Woo..... Is over. Much less stressful episode.... for you Adam and everyone watching. Thank God you made it.
As a truck driver, Pilot had my favorite coffee on the road. Would've been where I'd get my piping hot caffeinated beverage! Stay safe Adam! I honked my air horn through that tunnel! It's fun!
@@TheDailyWoo honest mechanics are so hard to find especially knowing when someone is not from the area. but i also thought of this quote "i just paid $500 for four bald tires and a tow." :)
Every time I think Adam is through it all something else comes up. Love seeing you visit the road side attractions but this has been a truly remarkable cross country trip without most of those. 🚗
Adam when you said 86 in FL, all i could do was heavy sigh and be a bit envious. It's currently 21 and snowy here in the frozen tundra of Ohio. Glad you made it back safe my friend. Looking forward to your next adventures. Thanks for taking us along on this trip.
Wow! 46 degrees to 86 degrees in one day! I'm glad the "car problems" were relatively minor and that garage was a lucky find. What a trip! I'm glad to see you made it back to home turf.
what an epic trip for sure! Thank you for taking us with you! As always, YES, I shall join you! I can feel the stress leaving and the joy moving in! Welcome Home!
"Lions and tigers and bears, oh my!" "Planes, trains and automobiles, oh my!" "Snowstorms, icestorms and tornadoes, oh my!" That was one hell of an unforgettable cross country journey. Glad you made it home safely and thank you for taking us along. We thoroughly enjoyed each and every treacherous mile. -oO( 😉 )Oo-
I enjoy how Adam is the same ol' Adam doing the trips that got him where here is today in the RU-vid world.. Don't change Adam and nothing beats getting home after a scary driving adventure. 👍😎
I’m also impressed how calm he seems under pressure. When some of us would be stressed or somewhat panicked, he does his best to remain even-headed which really works to his advantage every time. Big Thumbs Up!
So, you drove right by multiple filming locations for “close encounters of the third kind”. The gas station with the chickens statue, the railroad tracks right beside it was were the Richard dryfess truck got stuck and he had his encounter, the civic center (gold dome building) was used in multiple shots as the space ship, and brookley air field was the hangers used. Have a good trip
Followed you every step of the way. Thank you for taking us on the journey with you. And also for introducing me to Buc'ees ! I love it. So glad you made it back home safe and sound.
Native Mobilian here!🙋🏻♀️ Those are oyster shells, they're all over downtown Mobile and painted by local artists! Also I grew up holding my breath every time i'd go through that tunnel to the beach so that was very nostalgic for me when you mentioned it!
So happy that you are now content in Florida and out of that frozen tundra! And please always keep that car, it kept you safe through all of your really rough times on the road! 🌞
When you crossed over the Florida line I got a picture of Chevy Chase in my head with your excitement. Welcome back to Florida! Yes it is a different world down here and that’s why we like it especially during the winter. 🌞😁
This has definitely been one for the books Adam. Quite a journey. I thoroughly enjoyed it, white knuckles and all! Looking forward to whatever you do in Florida, take care out there.
Have thoroughly enjoyed your documentation of this winter storm! Happy to see you back in the sunshine state, and look forward to living vicariously through you again.
I know you're glad to be home, but I'm going to miss these daily travel updates. Of course easy for me to say whilst sipping on a piping hot decaffeinated beverage staring at my computer screen.
This was a lot of fun and scary at the same time. I’m glad you made it safe so far. Thanks for taking us on the road with you doing this wonderful journey
My goodness. You have been through quite a few weather obstacles. I'm sure you will be very relieved to see Celebration. Thanks for taking us along. You let us see what family is experiencing in Texas.
Thank you very much Adam for your travel vlog, yup sure has been a blast!!!! Enjoyed seeing the trains and the lighthouse on the hotel. Your vlogs are always appreciated :)
Adam we so glad you made it , you have been great entertainment for my family as we recover from covid, we have been watching and going through this nailbiting experience with you , as well as going back and watching alot of your older videos again. We want to thank you for doing everything you do , you are truly amazing
Adam, this might have been quite a scary experience, but it's all part of ATW puzzle...you will always remember this journey and it will be a part of your life forever...I almost wish you had brought Justin or another friend with you...it would have been cool!! Safe journeys!
We’re so glad you made it unscathed to sunny Florida! Loved the restored, vintage GULF gas station complete with Coca-Cola machine. Before this past week’s road trip, I had never heard of Buc-ee’s Convenience Stores (TX, MS, AL, FL), and I’ve become a fan of that mascot beaver “Buc-ee.” He is adorable. Have a blessed day!
The “Venomous Snake” rest area at Payne’s Prairie. My daughter was old enough to read but still small. We got into the bathroom and I noticed she was looking underneath all the doors into the stalls. I was like what is she doing? Then I got it. She was looking for snakes. 😂
WOOHOO..Came back through my town of Gainesville....either by Train, plane, or Automobile you come through for us every time, glad you have made it back!
I think this trip was the most interesting and treacherous journey weather wise you have ever posted on RU-vid. I wouldn't want to go through that. Glad to see you made it safely.
You did it!! I felt for you!! I've driven many a mile in that type of weather from my days in central, Ky..hence I now and have for 13 years near Fort Myers. I was so nervous to watch that! Thanks for the awesome vlogs!! Enjoy being back in Celebration!!
I don’t know how but I’m going to get there. I’m just south of you fellow in Minnesota. I’ve had enough of this crap. Sure wish I had the money to just move.
ADAM , When you get home you need to Wash your Car REALLY , REALLY , REALLY WELL to get the Salt off of it so it doesn't start RUSTING it out . Going Through a car wash would be fine but you need to do a DEEP CLEAN on the UNDERCARRIAGE to get rid of all of the SALT you picked up in TEXAS . Be Safe Adam .
So glad to see you made it back to Florida safely! I was so nervous for you driving thru Texas. But then when you made it to my home state of Alabama I was so happy to see you driving thru the tunnel and by the USS Alabama that made my day...as you were just I few miles away from my home. Take a breather for a few days and enjoy the Florida sun.
In Florida, I believe they have removed the self pumping gas nozzles. (or it was changed in the past few years.. but I do know that 10 years ago, you couldn't do that handle flick thing in Florida.)
Nice to see you got home safely. Enjoyed coming along for this road trip from the warm comfort of my own home every night. Thanks for taking us along again!
