You can’t even find replacement stick modules for this thing. Ridiculous for a $200 controller and PlayStation support is silent when you ask them what the deal is.
I bought some last week on playstation direct...But i believe they're out of stock again....Be paitent and keep checking.....I checked everyday for over a month until they finally came back in stock.
@@DanielZH PlayStation Direct is not available in Malaysia unfortunately. The closest to it is the online Sony Store, but it is currently out of stock there.
I bought and experimented at least 10 of these stick modules. Right now, I own one with 2% deadzone and that's what you should settle for if you payed 240€ for a pro controller. Every Time I buy a module I test it and take a picture of the deadzone value and if it breaks the 2% mark I trade it for a new one at the designated store. If they give you a hard time returning it just ask for your money back and go somewhere else and repeat... Stick drift and High deadzones don't go well with competitive games, speak with your wallets!
I have three analog sticks, and they all show movement when not moving the stick. However, I haven't noticed it drifting in-game, so maybe it's a visual feedback error?
I purchased my Edge at launch and recently the right back bumper got mushy and unresponsive. Sony sent me a replacement within a week. Looks like a new controller.

Hello, just fyi I had the grips start peeling off on my new controller and my warranty said it’s bad usage and couldn’t cover them. They did however replace the sticks even though I had no issues with them but refused to do anything with the grips…
i’ve noticed that the anologue sticks are much “harder” than the original dualsense and it feels weird and uncomfy to play,did anyone have the same problem?
Got the Edge controller Yesterday and my right back paddle is already broke. keeps getting stuck and doesn't/t come back after pressing the paddle. getting it replaces, hope the new one is better
Hi Daniel, I have a question: I own a Dual Sense Edge, playing mainly Fortnite. After few months of gaming, I noticed that the deadzone test is reporting 9% drift on the left stick, 6% on the right stick. So I adjusted accordingly to prevent any inconsistency. Nevertheless, there is also a way to adjust the deadzones within Fortnite. My basic testing makes me think that this deadzone adjustment is added on top of the one done through the Edge settings. Is it in line with your own observations ? Thank you.
Hi, yes the in-game settings typically add to the current controller settings unless there is an override option like overwatch 2, typically I change in-game settings as they have more/smaller steps than Edge settings.
Any idea why the replacement modules are unavailable on sony's website or anywhere else. I just purchased this controller and didnt know getting replacement modules are currently not possible. I feel like ive been scammed. Any info this situation , i cant seem to find any information anywhere. Thanks for the great videos.

Danial how do I fix this? My Dualsense edge right back paddle is stuck basically and it doesn’t let me push it all the way, I’ve made sure it was in properly and it still doesn’t work, I’ve had the controller for a while and haven’t had this happen, I know it’s not the paddle either because i got extreme rate paddles and it still happens. Do you know a fix for this? Please
Hi, I've seen new reports about the back paddles module not working correctly, the only thing I noticed in Reddit was people simply sending back the controller for a replacement or a Refurbished one, I haven't seen a specific fix for it that could be done by users yet...
Literally the exact same thing happened to me a few days ago. My right back button isn’t responsive at all and just extremely stiff out of no where. I’ve had the controller for over a year and the back button module broke before I even started getting stick drift lmao. I took out the button and I can see that the inside is really scratched up from I guess scraping every time you press the button so I’m assuming the button just doesn’t sit right properly anymore
i returned my dualsense edge beacouse in mw3 i noticed after 2 days stick drift a 2% deadzone (0% deadzone in controller settings) is it normal? Should i put 2/3% deadzone in controller settings?
2-3% in-game is very miner and typical, there won't be any controller with an Analog-stick that gives 0 drift all the time, so I'd say it's fine to have up to 2% drift in COD!
Do you think ps5 can overheat easier if im playing on 120fps vrr? I play dying light 2 and i feel like its 120fps most of the time with vrr performance mode
For gaming? No, a small drift might be ok depending on the game, for example in call of duty it helps with aim assist, but if it bothers you, you can add deadzone. For testing the controller 2-3% is good to start testing

Hi, thanks for the question, I'd cover game optimizations too, but only some AAA first-party games now. Why? They didn't get enough attention over 2 years and didn't pay back, I spent all I made from my job on buying and renting games on day 1 but ended up not getting enough views (because there is a lot of competition on YT for that kind of videos), and it was hard to keep paying $70 for games that pay back $5-10 avg. so I was forced to focus on topics that worked better on this channel... which for now was mostly Controller, Audio, and Video Calibrations but not for every game...hope that makes sense!
@@DanielZH Good response! I appreciate the videos and tips on using the Edge. As a viewer, I have a suggestion. Maybe give DualSense Edge tips on other games other than COD. Such as button configurations, curves, etc. I’m not complaining, I think it would hit a bigger viewer space.
