My consistent shampoo of choice has been Suave Daily Clarifying Shampoo. I would say take into consideration any scalp issues you may have and also what your hair likes. Remember locs are still your hair so in most cases it does not mean you have overhaul all your products, just be mindful to rinse well and be careful of those that might lead to buildup.

I love ur locs! N I used the first dye the L'oreal to dye my locs. It work lol I liked the all in one process. N ur sleeve is nice.

OMG we should start a support group!LOL Maybe it's a southern-ish thing then. Mine got put in because I was stupid and didn't tell the lady my perm was burning and my scalp scabbed up so badly my hair got stuck to it when I wrapped my hair up that night. So momma cut off my hair to about ear length(my hair was down my back by the way!) and put in the curl.

If you start wrapping right over top of the pipecleaner when you bend it... you should be able to conceal it quite a bit....

Epic colour! I got locs and that shocked my mom, if I coloured them, she'll be in hospital... lol I got jet black hair so I'm not itching to dye my hair but you've now given me an idea of what colour I should go for if I dye... you look BOSS!

I tried henna on my loose natural hair but not on locs. I personally feel it would be too much trouble to get out of my locs. I believe I got this one on ebay a looooooooooong time ago.

It's only been 2 years and 5 months as of the 20th.

Your hair looks really good! I too got a jheri curl in the 6th grade, and cried to get it out of my hair by 8th grade. I'm not from the east coast (Gulf Coast) and that too was the thoughts around these parts, 'a jheri curl could solve any hair (especially growth or falling out) problem...haha!

Ive heard that neem oil shampoo naturally strips color ftom ur hair, havent tried it yet though

I've been telling peeps my locs are 4 years old when in fact the just turned 3. So don't feel bad.
