Will the water dehydrate since you are using Aluminum foil?

well yeah but you could put a lid on it to prevent most of that. enough space in there to hold air enough for its reaction for quite some time doesn't take much oxygen and produces it on the charge cycle anyways. Like a lead acid battery really... you will need to add water from time to time nothing in this realm of existence is Maintenace free everything decays and its in the decay process that usually produces energy... heat.

Reusable, not rechargeable though, my understanding is that a rechargeable aluminium cell would have to be molten salt? Reusable might be suitable as a way to get power from scrap aluminium, hope you upload the full video soon.
