Picking up where the Sand 3 gloves left off, the Sand 4 gloves are the latest and greatest ADV option from REV'IT!. The outer shell utilizes 3D air mesh, connect finger tip leather, goatskin and PWR|shell 500D stretch. Inside, you'll find a tricot lining and Temperfoam® knuckle inserts. Additional features include TPR palm sliders, reflective stretch inserts, and adjustment tabs at the cuffs.

in term of price, design and safety, this gloves is definitely my favorite go-to. Saved my hands from any sort of injury in a bike crash.

Just revcived my pair(s), medium-large-xl. All 3 of them had something annoying and scratching my pinky's. The thing about the knuckle protection not being very flexible as mention in the video is true, it might get better over time, but you can definitely feel it is causing some resistance and cause bit less free feel in a not good way. Quality of the gloves themself seem excellent.

Good looking glove. What would Revit’s model be on this level and price point be in a road only version?

How much should these break in over time? XXL is good but just a tad of stretching should be a lot better. Usually wear a XL.

In your review it states touch screen on thumb and finger. But the Revit information only list touch for the finger. Please check and confirm the touch screen points.

My sand 3's are my go-to gloves. That honey-comb rubber they got rid of is my favorite part of the glove. I think the Sand 3 is actually better looking than the Sand 4.
@abraham50sd
@abraham50sd Год назад
Are they comfortable? I'm asking because the sand 4 gloves look real uncomfortable in the knuckle area, something that the sand 3 doesn't seem to have
@daveco1270
@daveco1270 Год назад
@@abraham50sd the Sand 3 are very comfortable. It's a flexible honey comb runner on knuckles. Unfortunately they're not making them anymore. I haven't tried the Sands 4, so I couldn't say if those are comfortable or not.

Revit gloves sizes are completely unreal. According to size chart I should buy XL. I tried XXL and still too small. 3XL too big?
@noname-bb1iq
@noname-bb1iq 3 года назад
but does this glove have a slider on the palm area or is there just a cushion? It looks like the protection on the knuckles and palm will stop you in an accident and not glide over the street

I'm loving these gloves!! I recommend going to the rev'it site and going at least 1 size up from their chart. It differs slightly from the one on revzilla. My hand measures just over 9.5 inches which puts me at the very top of xl or the very bottom of 2xl per rev it's size chart. I bought the 3XL and they fit perfectly. The gloves are super lightweight, while still being really comfortable. They flow a ton of air too, had my hands feeling great and not sweaty at all. I see a lot of people having issues with the knuckle guard, but I think that's because they bought gloves that were too small. When I first put them on to ride I definitely noticed the knuckle guard, but within the 1st hour it was fine. Did 150 miles in these on the first ride and have absolutely no complaints. I will be buying these again when my current pair is done.

They are Made in China, everything is 1 - 2 sizes too small. I don't know how they do that when putting a measuring tape around the hand, and manage to read the wrong number.

@RevZilla

Unless your winters are north of 65-70 degrees, these would likely be too cold of an option. The WP Sand 4 Gloves would likely suit you best for that though.

I love the sand 3’s. I was worried when I first bought them that maybe the protection wouldn’t be up to city commuting, but wanted a light cool summer glove. Need not have worried - eventually I crashed in them and they did their job very well. There are gloves that breathe a little better, but I love the combination of feel and breath ability with the 3’s - constantly forget I’m wearing them! I do have to hang a hand off in the breeze sometimes on really hot days, but I do t get back from a long hot ride to Sri it gloves, so they do their job well. Also not sure at all about that new knuckle guard. I think I’m gonna buy some 3’s before they’re all gone; they really do feel that great. I might get the waterproof 4 though.

Really disapointed with mine, stiching fell to bits and some of the leather seems to have rotted, shame, as having broken the gloves in and thinking what great gloves they were, they soon started to fail, pure shite.

I`ve been using them for close to 8 months and they are terrible gloves.I used them for a daily 2x40mins commute to work, but DAMN these gloves are killing my hands! the hunk of rubber on the top constantly wants to unfold my hand and the hundreds of stitches dig into the fingers so badly i cannot wear them for longer than 20mins. Of course every glove needs a break-in time but you cannot break-in rubber! 5-gloves all the way.

Everybody is here commenting about the old honeycomb design, but I think that thing was UGLY!! I would never have considered buying these gloves before because of that awful looking knuckle hahaha. I'm prob going to buy a pair of these for the summer because I like the new design and the reviews online are pretty damn good.

It costs less that $50 for Revit to manufacture this particular glove. Rest goes to the US main distributor then regional distributors then your local/online stores.
