Gene & Paul cannot do anything with KISS as they don't own any of it. What is even funnier is they sold their entire Catalogue for 300 million and QUEEN just received 2 BILLION for their Catalogue
They only sold the small part they possessed. The rest of the catalog 🎶belongs to the record label? And they didn't give their name and likeness completely away. Paul still has the right to participate in the Pophouse decisions. We don't know the details. Probably Pophouse paid them "only" 300 millions, but had to agree to invest more in the Avatars than Paul and Gene. Paul and Gene certainly negotiated a participation in the Avatar profit in the future. Queen have no likeness🎭and no Avatar projects. That's why a comparison is difficult.

Yeah, sadly, Annemarie Cusano (born 1955) was murdered in early January, 1998. Just four days shy of her 43rd birthday. Her murderer was a 37 year old man by the name of Gregory McArthur. A "sexual predator", McArthur was released from jail in late September 1997, after serving six years for sexual assault. McArthur has A LONG HISTORY of sexual assaults! Three months later he killed Annemarie. Her decomposed remains were found far away from the crime-scene, over 2 1/2 years later, w/ the help from McArthur. The Cusano's twin daughters were just 15 years old at the time. Go figure!!! SAD!🙄 Vinnie's second wife, Diane (born 1966), whom he married in 1996, was a lovely & gorgeous woman who unfortunately had a pretty severe drinking problem. Diane eventually succumbed to her alcohol problems, early 2014, at the tender age of 47.
Also, IMO, Vinnie should've signed THAT f*****g contract with KISS in late 1982 & stayed loyal with Gene & Paul. He would be SO MUCH better off mentally, artistically & financially these days if he had just signed it. He wasted his BIG CHANCE! 🤨😤

Definitely enjoy Vinnie's playing most when he plays straight ahead rock and/or metal.. The Treasure record was great, his Kiss work, the Warrior tapes. All good. Invasion? Some good there, some really BAD. I'd rather hear him play WELL and to the song, than hear him play FAST.
Vinnie's soloing can best be described as "steve vai if he took all the coke in the world and then recorded the result". He had the chops to be on the level of eddie van halen, joe satriani, steve vai and yngwie malmsteen but his complete lack of self control and unwillingness to self edit ruined that chance The solo on boyz are gonna rock is basically him trying too jam a 5 minute live solo spot into about 80 seconds. It's an almost unlistenable mishmash of noise that reminds me of the time my college roommate broke his guitar in half after taking a header down a filght of stairs while playing the second solo from slayer's angel of death.
Vinnie and Carmine, they are so alike no wonder they dont like each other. They should get Juan Cruciar of Ratt and former a super group called I AM THE TALENT.
I don’t know why anyone would want to see him play live. He wrote or co-wrote some good songs over 40 years ago, and when he did play guitar it just high speed, pointless noodling. No heart, no soul, no inspiration.
Vinnie Vincent was a nice break for KISS but he apparently was a complete classless douche behind the scene's. I dug some of his work but then found some just forced mindless un musical speed shred. Odd guy for sure. Screwed himself from song writing royalties and pulled some pretty shady deals as a Solo artist. Reappears after 30 years but is completely transformed into a shell of what he once was.

All Carmine does is talk about Vinnie . Plus it’s not 5000 bucks to see Vinnie. Yes it expensive 350 for weekend . Think it’s more now but one event was 350. You got autographs photos food and Vinnie played .
He hasn't done much in Rock music but he could be writing songs in a different type of music using a different name. There are lots of people that want Vinnie to write some songs for them.
Vinnie had a hard time just playing in key more in VV Invasion. Might think he was trying to play some passing tones, modal interchange scale, but it was out of key.
Gene is not in the best of health these days so I think he should stick with the avatar or actually hologram concept and keep the music alive that way and just kick back spend some time with family grandkids whatever .doesn't need the money he and his kids grandkids can live well .listen you can't take that money with you when your time is up in this world so go do something fun and less stressful .I get Kiss has been his whole life forever but think of the time you missed with them growing up while touring the world .we will always love kiss so have no worries retire and enjoy your time left .but guessing Gene doesn't want to do anything but continue .no disrespect intended but when you have to play live with pre-recorded backing tracks and lipsync the vocals it's time to give it up (touring that is) it's not fair to the fans that pay hundreds of dollars to go see you in these stadium festivals that use to cost just $10-$15 dollars backing the 70s and 80s but it was worth it cause it was real live Rock and Roll not standing on stage pretending to play .

I think Carmine is just bitter because Vinnie replaced him with a drum machine. This is the second time he has blatantly spread misinformation about Vinnie's first wife (no respect) and he is also blatantly spreading misinformation about the cost of attending Vinnie's events. I don't get it, he was an amazing drummer with an amazing career he should just let the bitterness against Vinnie go and move on.

I met Carmine at the NAMM show more than 20 years ago. He was a total asshole. He treated the fans as if he was holier than thou. Sorry, Bonham and Bozzio were always better. It’s funny how he’s calling out others for the same behavior that he has exhibited.
