A 10 year old 911 that has been maintained is probably better than most cars only 2-3years old. They are just that much better. You made a good choice and I’m sure you will definitely enjoy driving that timeless classic sports car.

I currently own a 13 g63 amg and a 13 e92 m3. Felt like I should futur proof my collection with cars that would face well against an economic downturn. Although, I like you want a Porsche! Only car I'd trade up from my e92 would be a gt3 in my dreams, or a turbo

Congrats. Just got a 997 tts as well. Actually there are tiny numbers of tts produced in 2013.

911 turbo is the final stage before going mclaren, lambo, or Ferrari. Definitely a nice upgrade from the g80, it’s not hideous but it’s not great looking either.

this is a bit off topic. How do these RU-vidrs have the money to buy and sell all these expensive cars? the tax and license alone is mind boggling! Maybe the show generate enough money? Just curious. I have a 2009 BMW 128i and a 2014 BMW x135i. They're both paid off, but I can't keep up with these purchases! Maybe that's why watch these shows! It's as good as it gets.

I get its a Porsche...but its no way near as good as the G80 M3.....and its break your bank maintaining it.

You might get to learn all about these cars and why knowledgeable people avoid them. No doubt a lot of fun to drive but certain things can and do go wrong and unlike most cars, that's where the "lesson" comes in. Hopefully, this car will not be a disappointment. Relays, modules, sensors and many other electrical components are prone to failure because of cheap manufacturing and poor design. Transmissions on these cars are also often problematic and can run $8000 or more to repair. The carbon ceramic brake discs are another high dollar item. In other words, you now own a car that is ten years old with ten year old parts at or near the end of their life expectancy. I wish you the best of luck but knowing what I know, that may not be enough.
