Idea; surveys to see if people recognize the logo / can draw the logo from memory. And also if they can remember your "quote" like "im loving it" for mcdonald

nooo I never write on my iPad! I use it for wire framing, but never for notetaking with the Pencil

Hey Charli, You asked how to measure brand performance. It’s a hard one, as you know. I think a mix of regular user and potential users interviews + NPS, as well as ongoing sentiment analysis on social platforms, can be helpful in this situation. I’d set a baseline now and track progress over time. Note that product work and marketing can impact all these, so I recommend always noting what/when product changes or marketing campaigns are running when you look at the metrics to give a bit more context to your data. If you have other ideas, let me know!

Hi Charli! Great video, very inspiring! I am currently reading a book called The Umami Strategy from Aga Szóstek that talks about how to define metrics based on quotes from users. I would highly recommend that book because it also helps you define a unique vision and “edges” (as she calls them) that make your brand stand out. Hope it helps 😊

Hi! Question for you, if marketing needs to make assets (ads, emails, etc) are there marketing designers that do that? (Just wondering how you work on consistency of design when there are separate designers on another team, like do you review them?). Thx! (Also no audio issues on my end- I watch you on my tv!)

Our Senior Marketing Designer is part of the Brand Studio team 🙌 we also work with a freelance graphic designer and soon an agency on design production work, but I'm ultimately responsible for these assets being produced on time and on brand.

Happy New Year! Shame about the audio in this vid. Gotta be honest, the hissing/wave sounds (??) in the background made it difficult to focus on what you were saying and the music overlay to try and mask it (I assume?) didn’t help. I had to stop watching before 2 mins! 😢 Looking forward to watching you again when you’re back in your home office with lovely audio! 💜

what you were hearing was nature! haha In times like these (when I'm travelling and can't bring my expensive setup with me) I'd rather create something that's imperfect than not create at all. There will be a few more videos in the coming months that are filmed outside my office. I hope you'll give them a chance! But I understand if you can't. I'll try to invest in a better travel filming setup in the future.
