"Lazy" days are NOT wasted days. We all need them to recharge and keep going. So no one should feel bad for having them.

Very happy to hear that Pearl's eye is healing, that Moon is feeling better, Wolf and Sakura are holding their own, and all the kittens are progressing well so far! I empathize with you about having rough days, Joey. I appreciate, as I am sure so many others do also, that you make the effort to be here for your supporters as often as you can be. You bring light and happiness to us, we love you, and we will understand if you can't give us content back to back because you need time to rest and recharge. See you soon, you are the best!💕😺

Working a normal job does not allow my creativity to flow, but I'm glad I no longer have to deal with that feeling. Cheer up, Joey! 💙

I have two foster kittens right now. They are both long haired and soooo fluffy! The little girl Macie is being adopted by my best friend and the little boy Ollie is going to stay here with me. I felt that same calming energy from him. Healing energy.

I believe Sakura hissed at the smell of another cat on you, not at you directly. That's why she still let you pet her. Kitties recognize people and other animals by smell more than sight. "It has my person's voice, but it smells WRONG!" Also, you may already know, but when a kitty shows you their bum, they are saying that they trust you. (it's a "vulnerable" area 😇) Even though it's gross to us, it is a compliment. Sakura loves her person.

If you get to where you wanna just watch movies and shows for a day but feel like you should be doing something you could on some of those days see if people would want to watch a live stream and watch movies and shows with you cause i would love that cause at least with that your doing nothing but doing something at the same time and you can take suggestions on movies or shows to watch and we get to see your reaction to the movies or shows we like and want you to watch. Just a suggestion I thought of that might help. Love you Joey you do amazing at what you do always love your content whatever it may be and we get that you sometimes need a break from it. 😊

Everyone needs and, more importantly, deserves self care days. EVERYONE, especially someone who puts as much good out in the world with your fostering of animals. You take such good care of the foster pups and kittens. A self care day is a day of doing something good for you so you can get up the following days and continue being the awesome you that you are!

I super can relate to feeling depressed when having a more lazy day. I feel like it's normal to feel like that when you're used to being highly active and productive.

Oh yeah last part is so relatable. Remember it's important to schedule, actually schedule, breaks. And schedule doing nothing, thinking about nothing, not your next video, nothing. Just sit outside for 10 minutes doing nothing and watching nature for a while, listening to the sounds around you. It's important.

One black kitty, one white kitty

The fact that mama is black and white like my first cat and we share the name makes me feel connected in a way to this whole series. I love watching your channel grow over time and you as well. Makes me feel inspired every time I watch any videos.☺️

Cool little fun fact about pearl and opal: They are colour point kittens which means they are heat sensitive albinos. Sooo their fur is coloured depending on their body heat. The darker colouring on their little face ears tail and paws is because those are the coldest parts of their body. Those kittens are born completely White bc its so nice and cozy in the womb and then as they grow older and cool down their markings will get darker isn't that so amazing. Also their eyes will be effected by the albinism so get ready for some stunning blue lookers!

Rainy days are some of my all time favorite because I have an excuse to lay in bed and watch TV all day. If I lived in Cali where it literally never rains I promise I would take full advantage when it did! Give yourself a break! Laying in bed all day can be quite liberating!

I hope you know your videos bring so much joy to me especially with the animals! But you can always take a rest and we will be here! You do what you have to do to destress!

Some other people have said that Pearl and Opal have Siamese in them, I couldn't see it before because they were just born. I agree that they are part Siamese because they have the dark points. Please don't feel that way Joey, just think of this as a much needed rest. I have chronic depression so I understand how you feel. The weather does affect our emotions plus the amount of daylight also affects us. WOW! I've never seen Sakura do that to you, but it makes sense she smelled the kittens and mama on you! I think Sakura (after s few days of getting acquainted) would be very happy to have a playmate and someone else to snuggle with and not be so alone. Please keep one of these babies...? AND I think Laura needs to adopt Jasper! lol What's one more kitty to her??? LOL ♥

Sometimes you need that time for yourself, to just rest and relax. Life is so fast, and go-go-go. Sometimes it's just great to just be, and be thankful for, all you have in your life. Give hugs from me, to those precious kittens. I'm from Indiana. I love what you do, for animals. I love animals and any and all kinds of animals. My daughter (whose grown & married) wants to have goats to bread, and milk & make all the things, with their milk. (Cheeses, pasteurized milk for people to drink, & soaps of all kinds. I want to breed sheep. I've studied them, & the kinds who are great Mom's. However, we need to find the right farm to buy. You are amazing! One day I'll need a dog, like the majority of the type, of dogs you save, & their babies that'll help move, my sheep to each spot, as they'll need to go, inside a huge barn that'll protect them, from the elements. My blue-eyed husky was majorly cross-eyed when he was a little puppy. I remember photoshopping his pupils into a more acceptable position for facebook so that no one made fun of my new puppy XD They didn't take long to straighten out in real life

for anyone wondering, here is joey's animal list (in time order): - Wolf (male husky, rescued from craigslist (?) as puppy) - Storm (male husky, white, adopted from a rescue as puppy, lives w Daniel) - Lark (female husky/german shepherd mix, adopted from a rescue as puppy (?), lives w Daniel) - Lark had babies (accident at doggy daycare)! seven of them (Red, Teal, Lavender, Pink, Yellow, Green, Blue) - Moon (male husky, kept one of lark's babies-Teal) - Shadow (male husky, J&D tried to keep Lark's baby Red, but Moon & Shadow struggled with littermate syndrome so Shadow was rehomed like the others) - Sakura (black female pregnant rescue cat) (kept her) - Sakura's kittens, the zodiac litter (Gemini, Taurus, Aquarius, Aries, Leo, Sagittarius) - Azula (female foster cat, was pregnant but lost the litter) - Hen (foster mama from junkyard) - junkyard pups (Duck, Goose, Shark, Otter, Bear, Moose) - foster mama dog Roo - Roo's litter (Hare, Tiger, Bison, Panda, Raccoon, Monkey) - Daenerys (white foster mama kitty) - D's kitties, the Greek Goddess litter (Athena, Persephone, Aphrodite, Nemesis, Rhea) - took care (for a couple of days) of a mama duck and her 9 babies that wandered into his backyard and got stuck - May (foster mama husky) - May's babies, the Months litter (January, February, March, April, June, July, August, September, October, November, December) - Coco (husky foster mama pt2, false pregnancy, surrogate to Disney pups) - husky babies abandoned in box (Disney litter--Copper, Pluto, Bolt, Scar, Bruno, Darla) - Daisy (husky foster mama pt3) - Daisy's babies (flower/tree litter; Goldie, Lilly, and Daphne didn't make it; Ash, Cyprus, Oren) - Lacey (black & white foster kitty mamma) - Lacey's kittens, gem litter (Opal, Pearl, Peridot, Flint, Mica, Jasper) *Montana/Monty (female golden retriever) is often in videos; she is Daniel's (Joey's ex) dog, but often comes to Joey doggy daycare *the babies are usually adopted by other people (other than Moon) and then renamed!

My kitten had the same thing with her eyes looking different ways- she also looked very similar and she is a Siamese. Her eyes fixed themselves after a few weeks.

I have a kitty twin to Jasper, even named Jasper!! Same white with big grey spots. I’ve never seen another cat like them.

Rainy days make me sleepy so it's ok to be lazy/sleepy. Also give yourself grace. Doing nothing is important for the imagination/creativity. Daydreaming or just letting the mind rest means you'll be ready for tomorrow. Sending you love

Totally get what your saying, I’ll also get a bit depressed and anxious when I’m having a lazy day. I learned how to finger knit big chunky blankets and that helped so much, just doing a boring repetitive easy task but doing something helped me a lot ❤

A tip about cat's language: have you learned how cat communicate with their eyes? They blink at you if they trust you. A tip is to sit oposite them, and lock eyes. Then you blink, slowly. That will signal trust and respect. If the cat blinks back, you are accepted, you are trusted, you have consent and acceptance. My friend Tom who is a cat expert does this every time he has to get along with a new cat quickly. I know depression and stress, I live with it and your videos relieves some of it, so I wish I could give you advice. Try not to worry too much about the videos, the videos will be best when you enjoy them anyway, so you will just benefit them if you take a day of here and there.
