Thank you very much! I'm new to the sport and am looking at options. Your video is one of the few I've seen that actually goes through WHY you mounted the system the way you did. It really helps us newbies to see the options and installation in the real world!

Nice. Looks like it would work with the loop bar bag fitted. Btw, the porcelain rocket harness is now available under the name Rockgiest.

Grazie davide! come sempre super utile ;) Posso chiederti se la compressione della borsa sui cavi non è un problema? Anchio ne ho una simile e schiaccia molto i cavi (a mio parere) ma non ho capito se va bene lo stesso o se devo fare qualcosa....Grazie

Ciao Cristina, se guardi bene l'harness della Revelate Design ha due spessori in gomma nella parte superiore che tiene distante l'harness dalla barra superiore creando uno spazio dove i cavi vari non sono schiacciati. Comprimere i cavi a lungo andare potrebbe dare qualche problema di scorrimento del cavo interno ma dipende molto anche dal peso della sacca che monti.

Take a look at the Ergon GC1 grips. they are specifically made for swept bars and I love them on my Jones bar.

I have just ordered the Revelate Designs handlebar Harness 2020 and Sea to Summit 20L 20x11x7 dry bag for my Surly LHT 26in 2008

@@DavideTravelli I am getting rid of my Arkel large handlebar bag doesn't work great on bumpy roads and trails I'm starting to ride dirt trails in San Diego California to get used to them

Hi Davide. Thanks for making the video. I all ready have the 2020 harness on my full sus bike but im building up a hardtail bikepacking rig. Could i ask do you have the normal .5 jones bars or the 2.5 rise version?. Cheers Mike

Ciao Mike, welcome to the channel! I have the regular bar; the rised version, I dont think it would make any difference because once you do a bike fitting the height of the bar it's determined, I think the raised version could help where you cant the the bar higher for lack of spacers? Not sure, either way the jones bar is a great combo with the revelate design harness.

Was just wondering about the space between the bars and the front wheel as I’m looking at getting the h bars and wanted the standard ones and the spacing should work fine looking at your setup. I think you should be fine depending on your frame, also the jones bar are never fitted levelled, you usually find the right angle for you but you will put the up for sure because that's the most natural way to avoid pinching nerves in your hand. Yeah hopefully we can go back to travelling soon! Safe rides.

Ottima recensione, io ho un prodotto simile ma che si è rilevato troppo piccolo, forse più adatto un un "turismo" urbano e giarnagliero. In che direzione andrai una volta che si potrà ripartire ?

Si con questo harness una dry bag da 20L dovrebbe starci benissimo, e' probabiliste il più usato sul mercato, un po' una garanzia. Ripartendo devo finire l'Europa per poi avviarmi verso l''Iran e la via della seta. Probabilmente Marocco (se riuscisse anche Tunisia e Algeria) per poi salire a Nordkapp da Spagna/Portogallo. Vediamo cosa si puo' fare.

@@DavideTravellinon vedo l'ora di vederti in quei luoghi splendidi,la via della Seta è un piccolo ma faticoso sogno come il sud america. Purtroppo per me almeno per ora in questo periodo della vita rimangono sogni ma sto cercando di risparmiare il più possibile per chissà un giorno potere staccare la spina per un po'. Purtroppo il problema "virus" ha sballato tutti i piani per il mio primo viaggio, speriamo che si sistemi in fretta ma ho già quasi perso le speranze.

I dont have the Moloko, I have the Jones but I'm 100% positive you can fit it there as well. the Moloko has an even wider design.

Sure, the harness mount to the handlebars as you can see in the video, not on the fork; hence it doesnt really matter what kind of for you got.

@@silentmind461 it doesnt disturbe the suspension per se, you might be restricted a bit on the dimension of the bag you can carry based on the travelling of the fork but that's all. The harness can pack even very small diameter bags
