Exactly what I was thinking. I'm all for calling out bad and overly aggressive police officers etc...but I'm unbiased enough to not jump on the case on an officer that is doing things by the book.

It's almost like if, you, like, are compliant and don't act out and deal with the officer like another person, they won't kill you won't hassle you, hell won't even give you a warning. Honestly, as a white man, I'D have probably gotten a ticket in that situation, only because I've been in this exact situation (mismatch registration on new vehicle) and I was in a CELL before they discovered "Oh, DMV record wasn't updated yet, sorry to 'detain' you for several hours, you're free to go". But hey, mistakes get made, no harm no foul.
I forget the exact stats, but the first year my city got bodycams the number of complaints dropped by about 60% and the number of prosecution for false complaints doubled. I guess all the bad cops instantaneous straightened up.🤔

This is a bit late but most Mercedes aren’t even very expensive. I got a 06 e320 and i paid just under 1300 for it and it’s just as luxurious and smooth as most modern ones

Meanwhile, there are more honest preachers like the one at my small church. The church is dying, and the pastor voluntarily stepped down from pay for the sake of the church. He works 60 hours a week to make ends meet and dedicates the rest of his time to our church and making sure it's able to survive because he cares about the gospel and the people who support it. Liars, con artists, and thieves who claim to be preachers are such... ugh. Then they make everyone look bad

I would have requested that officers badge number. Then I would have contacted his supervisor and made sure the supervisor knew what a great officer they had on the team.
If I was a member of this Pastor's congregation, I would take a look at the books. A pathological liar usually signifies other character flaws. Such as fraud.
Tile'n dyna guy if they put false information on an actual written complaint they can be held legally liable. Even if it is due to failure to recall accurately. That is why it is so important to limit any complaints to ONLY what you can directly recall and inly what is factual and avoid any interpretation.

Funny thing is he probably did have drugs in the car, or had a few drinks in him. He even started arguing with the cop (who isn't tje dealership or the DMV) indicating he was guilty of something. I know i know that's some conjecture but he should've just said "yes sir thank you I'll get it remedied," how often do we see guilty people talk themselves into trouble.

Donuit Operator, people like that "Reverend" shouldn't be get off that easily, he should be *prosecuted* , he practically slander that nice officer, if it was not recorded the officer could lose his job, fall victim for being a racist, his family would suffer too, the "Reverend" was creating racial tension that could lead violence against members of the community, and other police officers. People like that type of evil and dangerous liars should be prosecuted, excommunicated and made an example for deterring other race baiters and virtue signallers!
Good on that activist for having the brains and true dedication to his cause by calling out that liar, and not just sweeping it under the rug. If any activist groups want to come across as causes that are serious about promoting equality, then they need to call out people like this who give the group what some could generously call a tarnished reputation by using the cause as an excuse to do what they want (in this case, in the least, being not having to go down to the DMV).
I can see his church forgiving him but not the NAACP, that doesn't make sense. Hes making it worse for actual victims of racism, you would think that would piss them off. I don't know what their reasoning is, but then again, they admire and love Sean King and Rachael Dolenzal, both of whom are liars and not even black. It gives me a headache trying to wrap my head around their twisted logic.
