Izzy really is actually a really nice guy. I remember he did a poster signing after the press conference for UFC 271. Right before I was next to go over him a baby started crying in the crowd. Then out of nowhere Izzy said “here, let me help you with that “ Izzy then grabbed the baby, lifted his shirt up and breast fed him right there in front of us. Thing is, Izzy never has to deal with not having the height or reach advantage. With his defensive striking style, it’s reasonable to expect safety to come from managing distance properly. But when you finally face an opponent who’s the same height as you and can use the same technique of leaning back while throwing hooks without losing the ability to connect…let’s see what happens. @Elijiah McEvoy The thing is poulo didn't fight in his style, this is what happens when a sprinter tries to run a marathon, poulo should have gone in his rage mode and should have tried to fight like poulo vs yoel type of fight but poulo was not sure about his gas tank lasting for even the 3rd round so he went on energy efficient mode and it failed JUST WRONG FIGHT STRATEGY Next time poulo will fight in his style and boom new champ in case if Izzy is still a champ

Lol from all the fights its clear that Pereira's biggest weakness is a high right hook. He just doesn't seem to keep his guard up and in this fight you can see when Izzy almost KOs him he hits with multiple right hooks none of which were blocked.

This is one hell of a fight. I'm shocked Alex survived all that to still get the KO. That's the beauty of fighting. No matter how much skill a person has, all it still takes is one shot.

It is not we are fanboys or something. The decision fight was straight up robbery (go watch yourself to have an opinion) and in the knockout fight Izzy was winning till the knockout. Does that takes something out from Pereira winning with a ko? Absolutely not but facts are facts simple aas that...

He won the Glory Middleweight Contender Tournament and all of his opponents in Glory had winning records by a large margin Yousri Belgaroui has only lost 4 times and 2 of 4 is to Israel Adesanya. Kickboxing isn't like boxing or MMA you can't really pad your record and get noticed, if you aren't legit no one is watching you that's why undefeated title holding kickboxers are RARE.

He has average defensive ability anyway, just relies on height and length not actual blocking and head movement, it’s why he’s been beat by he’s 2 biggest ufc opponents

Cause Perreira was obviously fucking on the juice. Look at his physique in the UFC compared to here and in other kickboxing fights. Israel is actually leaner here than he is in the UFC. I think he put on mass to be able to competitively grapple with guys and he has more power now because of it than he did here (also because of glove size difference). But to me, Perreira is on obvious piece of shit juicer. I actually like Robert Whittaker more than Israel. But here I don't give Alex any credit for tanking 10 clean shots while he's rocked because on some expensive steroids. No thank you. Izzy would wipe the floor with him in the UFC, and I say this as a Whittaker fan.
That's why the rematch has to happen. We need to see them at their juiciest go at it. Peds don't typically add one hit ko power but if you have it you're gonna hit way harder with than without, and on that note I think it's fair to say izzy hits much harder now than he used to
