Yes, sure way to complicate a good afternoon in rusty eastern North America. Around here we have get the cuttin torch out for those bolts after a few years. Plus stuck in bushings. “ The red Wrench”. Another great video!
You reminded me of Curt Henderson at 8:57 from American Graffiti when he tells John Milner if he’s gonna “go after him…” after hearing Bob Falfa peel off in the distance. Milner to Henderson: “Hey Professor, if he can’t find me then he ain’t even worth racing!”. Best come back ever. Nice truck. Just waiting for mine to arrive, hopefully Monday. Edit: Brought my SLT home tonight. Only 60 day wait from order placement to arrival before accessory install.
Definitely an alternative to replacing the upper control arm on the front. I'm probably going to do this to my new Trail Boss 6.2l. Thank you for this idea 💡.
Nice that you didn't have to remove the hitch! 👍 Quick suggestion. Paint the beads of those wheels red like the GMC logo. It would tie in nicely with those and the taillights.
The new truck is looking SHARP...and nice job on those drop shackles, think this is the third truck I've seen you put them on...that's called getting your money's worth!!!!
When you first bought the truck I was optimistic but when you put the wides on it, the reverse level, and the tinted windows it's changed my whole prospective on it
I did that to mine too, and the beginning rear vibration. The pinion angle was off, and I just didn’t want to mess with it so I decided to go back with the stock shackles.
Hey man I’m looking at tires for my 14 F150 and I’m torn between the Gladiator X comps and the Trail Graps. Which would you pick? And yes I watched your gladiator x comp video.
probably a dumb question but still gonna ask lol with doing drop shackles in back is it ok for 4x4 and payload in bed still same thanks and your truck looks amazing i have a 2022 gmc too with 3.0 diesel love it
That way can be cheaper but a leveling kit is much better because you can add bigger tires. I had 31” stock on an ‘18 and put the leveling kit on and now have 33” and they fit perfect.
do the new "refreshed" GM trucks come with the upgraded lifters? My '19 silverado just had a collapsed #8 lifter and my extended warranty only fixed that one bank and am asking for your professional opinion. Should I trade it in or give another year?
I would say the lifters are worse. I know the 6.2 in the Silverado ZR2’s are failing, sure the 5.3 has the same lifters. CHINA! GM really should machine such an important part in-house.
it did with my 2018 Silverado. Had to put it back to stock suspension. Planning on doing it against except having to set the pinion angle along with it.
Fun and disappointing watching this I got a stock 17 sierra and I wanna lift it and widen the stance and throw new rims and tires on it but man that stuff is expensive
