Funny you mention that, I get yelled at DAILY for looking at my car like I do and not the other half lol. Thank you guys for the support. And wait for the follow up in the next couple months..
Saw one pull up right beside me in the parking lot yesterday and the guy reved it hard! I have to say it was the happiest day of life in a while witnessing a R32 in real life.
+Mirko Filipovic Hey but that is Matt... like it or not, at least he has a style and has stayed true to it. I for one enjoy the reviews and appreciate the time spent on doing them!
hey hey hey! easy guys! (they came on the car, I hate them, please don't point them out) :...-( I'm hunting for a good set of Nismo GTLM 1-3's (I don't want LM4'S on a 32..)
One of the lucky ones to have driven and raced an R32 back in 2006 on the streets of Pakistan. Traded in my 2000 R1 for it but it was worth it! (went back to the r1 though, sorry JDM bois) but mad respect to this machine. Fastest car I've ever driven!
I live in a small city in the U.S i saw a skyline gtr i flipped out so the guy in the gtr looks over and is seeing the guy in the red hat looking like he's having sizure 👍
Man, that thing sounds amazing. The R32 has always been my favorite iteration of the GT-R. I'd like to own one of these one day in Gun Gray Metallic IMO, R32>R34>Hakosuka>R33>R35>Kenmeri
Came here to see how you guys are reacting to our king of the streets glad you guys are loving it. Its so common to see skylines here in Australia. Theyre like camrys bro. Theyre everywhere. Between Stock to 1000hp. R35s tho.. Not so much. Only a short amount of time till that car will take over the USA streets too haha!! AMG, M Series.. Lambo, Ferrari? 😂 What are thoooose lmao.
Excellent review man and what a car. Only thing il say is you should have perhaps put the window up, just a bit to much noise from wind and passing cars.
while this car is super awesome and i would love to have one it does have a big downside. This car is a HUGE DICK MAGNET, no chick is going to come up to you and ask you about this car only dudes, and that my friends is a shame. That being said my 2015 C7 is also a huge dick magnet however the females do respond to it well dont see that happening with this R32
JoeyVenal Vlogs Videos and Junk That has also happened more times than I care to recount lol. If I put some 19s on with a lip, and cambered it out to run -7°, I'm sure I'd have 8 girlfriends haha. Nice channel btw
I remember playing Playstation 1 with Gran Turismo (1998) and and tried lots of cars... finally me and my friend got the Toyota Supra and it we could tune it to around 900+ HP.... but it was totally undrivable... we could beat it with a lot less horsepower on other cars... Supra was RWD... and with 900+ HP it was impossible... then we checked around and found this strange car... a Nissan??? and it was a progressive AWD drive car... with a lot of tuning possibilities... think we got it to around 850+ HP... and it was a fucking beast to drive... it was 100 times better then the Supra... after that (98) I just loved Nissan's GT-R's and ofc their Silvia line (could never afford any GT-R and was not sold in Sweden)... but I had 2 200SX S13 (CA18DET, not the American KA24DE)... absolutely loved them!
@@oofeeleelee6556 unless your country hates import cars (like the US) or your country loves to fuck you over with the highest taxes in the world with increasing taxes (sweden)
Darrell Gilbert if i were homeless, and i had i car, it would be cool to sleep in the car then wake up to dozens of paparazzi trying to ask if they're legal and where'd you get it
Matt..............NICE! Always wondered about that car. One of the guys at my local gas station has this very car and I love it. So does he. Thanks for the great review! As always! How's about a pre-72 VW bus? Love to see that review, or even some 50's-60's American Motors stuff, like Ramblers, AMX, Javelin etc. Thanks again for the enthusiasm and fun! You're a natural at it Matt! Love to watch your face and hands flying around!
+subaruwrxfan awesome!..hopefully u get urself some more friends with older cool cars like this one to review since all of us here love us some classics. nice review again👍
I'm turning 16 in a month, I'm going to buy an S13 or an SC300, I can't decide yet, and when I get a steady job I'mma buy an R32, the original Godzilla
N1 and Nismo were two different things all together. There were only like 560 Nismo GTR's, and they were all gunmetal grey. You can find out if you look at the blue plate in the engine bay, and under chassis code, it will say "model" and have a bunch of gibberish.
+66gt40lm Also, N1's weren't made until later in 91. There are also only 228 of them, and none are in the states yet... He definitely doesn't have an N1 or Nismo.
+Dominic Dalessandro The issue with the videos of the "stock" R32 GTR's on youtube is that they aren't stock, replacing the stock exhaust with something that has decent flow means you are not only getting better flow but because of that you are running more boost, plus the boost restrictor mod that most people do means even more power.
I am aware that many of these have after market mufflers, and just about every r32 that is imported has the boost restrictor mod. But Nissan actually recommended that consumers do this mod to open it up. A muffler isn't going to add approx. 40 crank horsepower.
Hopefully he had it tuned for the fuel available to him locally. The JDM cars typically come with aggressive timing to make use of the 100octane fuel in Japan. If he's using anything lower he's likely getting knock and may prematurely kill the engine.
+atlanticimports 100 Octane in Japan is Equivalent to 93/95 Octane in the USA. 100 RON is about 93 AKI. I should know, I also live in Asia and had to learn this stuff since I drove a USDM car that said 91 Octane which was actually 95 RON here...
Hopefully he's running on 95 then and not 91. My JDM STI didn't like 91 oct so I had to pull some timing and add more boost unfortunately you lose some power but its safer in the end.
It says "Speed Hunters" in Japanese. Cool gold wheels match the white body color. It reminds me of a friend's ride back in '89-'90. What a roller coaster ride that was on the streets of Tokyo... Cool video indeed.
During the ad before the video I am always humming the intro song and screaming "Yeah!" Then screeching "What's up everybody, Subarrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrfan!" in a high pitched voice before the video starts.
i payed 14k for one like that 4 years ago in NZ. Since you guys can now get them road legal over there its worth 30k+ keep buying them plz while my one is tucked away :)
Also, N1's have a different chassis code and weren't made until 1991. And those aren't Brembo brakes. It has NISMO vents on the front bumper, but doesn't have the full NISMO aero kit.
It was rated at 276 HP because most big Japanese car manufacturers signed the Gentleman’s agreement where they agreed to make cars with no more than 276 HP to avoid competition. The manufacturers all broke the agreement almost immediately, though they still rated the cars that way to make it not so obvious. So you are right, it most likely made more than 276 HP. Besides, that R32 might have some slight mods to it to make some more power but idk (I’m only at 8:04 in the vid so don’t go “he said it in the video!” :) ) Edit: The GT-R had a wastegate limiter that limited the power. When removed, which is a free mod, it gave the car way more power (~320 as apposed to 276)
+Anthony A little preparedness prior to a video shoot is not too much to ask despite how it was shipped. I don't know about this owner, but if it were me, I'd have all my interior pieces and engine parts in place before a video shoot.
