6:08; you make an error than the P button because this button is not parking brake, it's to put the vehicle into 'Park' for the gear position and there is also a traditional handbrake. P.S: Not to forget this car doesn't have ventilated seats, it has two-stage heated seats.
EXCELLENET/PERFECT in-depth review of da Auris!👌🏾Confirmed for me dat as early/old as da 2015 models have da touchscreen controls/Toyota Touch 2! P.S. LOVE da "Barcelona Red" colour as well! 😍Thanks for informing me/us!
Power mode doesn't use petrol engine full time. It will still use EV mode for lower speeds, but will turn on the petrol engine on lower requirement than regular mode. Also the car almost never runs on petrol only, both engines usually work simultaneously, or electric only on lower speed (thus hybrid SYNERGY drive).
People shouldn't forget there is a 4th driving option between Eco and PWR when you simply click Eco button twice to deselect it. That's my favourite on the motorway
This Auris is 90% Lexus CT200h. Only very minor rear sway bar damper that Auris hybrid do not have but the rest parts are exchangable. The powertrain is identical and the insulations are almost the same. With the Safety sense 1, it is very good value
@@Aviciiz guess the Prius is the og hybrid, it was around first then the Corolla adopted the Prius hybrid system. Here in Ireland the Corolla hybrid is that little bit more popular than the Prius.
Forgive my ignorance as a new driver, but can someone explain to me the need for a lever-operated handbrake in addition to the parking switch? I've been learning in a CHR Hybrid that has no lever.
Not sure if you’ve found your answer but i’m not sure if the CHR Hybrid has a foot brake pedal like the prius or lexus ct200h. Essentially, if you leave your car in park using just the parking switch (i’m assuming you mean the P button🥴) the whole weight of the car will be on the transmission. However, if you park it using the hand/foot brake first, let the weight of the car rest on it in neutral, then press the parking button, the car will be resting on the parking brake rather than the transmission.
