Remember that the ratings and reviews were bad, so they brought him back and plan on keeping him to get better ratings, and for the nostalgia that will make people watch the show. We will see how that goes.
I caught that look from Che too when Carrie said she made a mistake and had the same thought! Ugh! We’re stuck with Che forever and for no logical reason.
Molly Rogers and Danny Santiago are the costume designers for AJLT; Molly was Patrica Field's assistant on SATC. Patricia will be dressing Kim Cattrall for her cameo in episode 10, though.
@@LadylinaM69 In interviews Molly and Danny have stated that Cynthia and Kristen have input in their costuming and SJP has direct say in what her character wears; all those crazy hats, over-styled, questionable outfits, is all SJP. She's living vicariously through "Carrie".

I just Can’t with those kids anymore. Charlotte deserved better kids! I know teen years are tough but they needed to give us more good and sweet to balance the rude and disrespectful behavior to balance them off.
What kind of friend is she? And they really have not with this story line established her as a good friend. Why not be happy for her friend, instead of being jealous? I don't feel jealousy I just feel like she is not a good friend. Hey if my friends are happy I am happy. Maybe it is a wealth thing.

How awkward of her to be continuing being involved with Che? I’m not saying someone can’t be close to both people when a couple breaks up, but Carrie is Miranda’s friend for YEARS and has only recently met Che. So why is she encouraging a continuing relationship with Miranda’s ex? I think the writers sprinkled some crazy dust in their Pepsi on this one
I’m sorry but what irritates me most about this show is how they’re trying to erase the legacy of Big. Whether you loved or hated him, she loved John ‘Big’ Preston almost her entire adult life so cut the crap. I’m not saying she didn’t love Aidan but she didn’t love him enough. She always chose Big over him, over and over again. She also forced him to accept Big in her life. Seriously stop it. Also even if she had to circle back to him, it couldn’t be that easier or simple after their history. It’s not necessary for her to say she made a mistake, she could’ve said that she wished things have been different.
Was she fun, a style icon, great at penning her failed love attempts into columns-yes! However, she was so self-indulgent, constantly involving her friends into her man troubles, and always kept running to the problem (Big) for the solution. Insanity at its finest.
I feel that this revival is trying to become attractive to a younger audience. So they are incoporating new elements. However the people who were eager to watch are the original viewers that are now in their 40s and 50s, like the actresses. The magic is gone like Samantha Jones. These storylines or most of them make no sense. I was not optimistic even before it started airing because of the movies that were mediocre. I stopped watching after the second episode of the first season. I can't recognise any of the characters.
Are the younger viewers tuning into this show with most of these people are single? Like they were when we were watching! It's like a nightmare for the younger viewers of what NOT to do when you are in your 40 and 50! I am even scared and I'm in my 50!!!! Welcome to my channel!!
My problem with the remakes of Legacy series and the over fan Canon saturation is the more you explain things the less room fans have to play and enjoy s*** cuz when fans come up with the ideas they sit and think about the series more and have their own enjoyment for it when people can't create their own enjoyment there's no room for them
I am not just writing this to be a AJLT hater - I wanted to Love this show. When I heard it was coming back I was OVERJOYED . I never thought I would not like it. After season 1 I was lConfused about writing choices but compared to this season it might prove to be the glory days. The whole Big comment after 10 years of subjecting us to him was a set up for Che who they insist of making us accept. Why is she still here??? I knew Aidan was better for her in my 30’s - I just wish he knew he was too good for her. He made the mistake coming back.2x’s The magic is gone and this series proves you can’t go home again. If there is a 3rd season finally IWILL NOT WATCH ! I will save and spare myself . I can’t tell you what to do but think about your mental health. We ALL deserved better! This show is a complete bust. If you watch the first season you just want to hang yourself. It's so overacted and you get the feeling that anyone over 50 should just give up on life. I get that they're supposed to be more mature but where is the funny stuff? The show Frankie and Grace is way funnier and they could be their mothers! The whole Aiden crying thing was wayyyy too much. I get that you'd be upset if your kid had such an accident but he sounded like he died... I dunno... Also, the Big thing was a big joke! I mean really?? It seems like these writers don't know the original show... Can't wait to hear what you think about the finale. :)
I enjoy recaps, but it would be nice if you could just tell the plot of the episode in chronological order and give a review. Instead, you are all over the place; going back and forth between AJLT and the original SATC, even the movies. It's very confusing.
