I have purchased this BMW yesterday and decided to make a video. Hope you find it helpful information whether you're just browsing for cars or maybe looking for a potential new car :)
Hey it is a two liter 4 cylinder. 1,9 was the previous 318 version. Nice driving, just dont start it up skipping the ignition charge/fuel pump activation stage. Click once, wait till the lights go out, then start the engine. I dont know why so many people fail at this. Ruining your battery life, starter, pump, spark plugs...
Awesome English bro! Congrats! i didn't expect a Dutch guy to speak it this well ❤️👏 But honestly as a Romanian guy nobody expects me to speak very good english either so... Good for us 😂❤️
Really nice BMW! And I see you got the 2.0l one. I have the same and I really love driving it! And for it's km's it really looks nice! I'm still looking to get manual heated sportseats but these seem really hard to come by. Nice car !
Your english is actually very good and it sounds fluent :) also what sport muffler would you suggest for the 318i that is as cheap but as good quality as possible?
Love this model...much more than the current 3 series. Great look, visibility and back when the 3 series was actually compact. AND a manual! Can I have it?
Nice vid, nice car. I also have one but as a coupe. So your consumption is 8,9 km/l, which is 11,2 l/100km. What are your driving conditions and how do you drive it?
Yeah they come powered, it's just optional bro. Great car, you got the face lifted model so that's why you have exterior changes, the car is great. How does she perform with the 1.8 engine? Check out my E46!
just found one of these today outside of tokyo. Its in pristine condition with a bad engine after the owner overheated it. Only 100k kilos on the clock and heading straight to the scrap yard. my heart is bleeding.
That's one damn great looking car! I'm about to buy one, can't decide which model to go with; 2002 one or 1999.. The older one would be a bit cheaper, of course.
Hi mate got a question for you. How did the car drive after a few years of your purchase and what has broken down / been changed? Also does it have electric seats?
+Torjus Birkeland Probably too late now... But pre 2001 models had subframe cracking issues. So stick to post 2001 (I guess the change was during 2001 so some late 2001 models had the new frame? But play on the safe side).
+Torjus Birkeland it was a crap because it was going into hands like a sweet. no body does maintenance and even i cant to insure it in the UK because of my age. But even with 8000 miles of late service it was starting on the first attempt. Hope you enjoy your BMW, its a dream of my childhood.
here we have an e46 which is nice!!! hahha lights very nice interior very nice exterior very nice cd radio very nice yes im sure the guy have its first bmw and thats realy nice
this car doesnt comes with Viper in rear, how does it the water wipes out during the rainy season. is it really comfortable without viper i mean. please someone ans me, as im thinking of buying this car also i am a new driver. thank you
Really beautiful car but how much are the 3 series nowadays worth? Can you get one from 1999-2006 for example for under 4000€? Many young people drive those, interesting how expensive they are
They are dirt cheap considering the type of car you getting. BMW's 4 cylinder resale value is extremely bad simply because of the costs involved should any simple repair be needed. I Picked up a 318i M-Sport 2004 for €2000.
Very nice car .I am looking for a 1999/2002 bmw 3 series how much did you get your car for any what price am I looking for what is to cheep and what is to expensive if someone could help me out that would be nice
Mate your steering wheel indicates that your car has at least 250k km.... seats also. Have same steering wheel i have 150k km on the clock and its looks like a new one. 3900 to fuel inspection so do it ASAP. Normally computer shows 25k to fuel inspection which is to long. So you running 21k km on same oil. I think is far too long :) Great exterior condition and love that wheels ("style 67") i have "style 68". You have custom muffler maybe from 320i or 325i (double tip) 318i has one tip.
ik denk zo 200 brandstof 60-68 blstng 120 verzekering (omdat je 0 schadevrije jaren hebt) denk zo 350-400 ,- p/m deze bmws zuipen veel ! 1 opde 11 zo een beetje
Can you please make another video under your hood because I got my car from a car lot in my windshield doesn't work properly in my coolent stay saying check it after I put some coolin in it. It tells me to check my left light in some more stuff! Its my first BMW in I feel like its missing so much so I'll appreciate it if youll do it!
i had a 2005 318i sport touring, the clutch was light and the gear shift was crisp and nice, the interior was also nice, the engine in a 318i is garbage, i had the 2.0 n46 engine which is vastly superior to the 1.9 and it was still crap, the stereo is also garbage.
Hey, there really aren't any electrical problems with this car. It's a very good car with very little known issues. I wouldn't worry one bit in regard to any electrical problems!
The only thing that I can tell you about (and have experienced on this car) is a small O-ring rubber on the oil compartment that can start leaking oil. Quick replacement resolves that.
Wow, I've a 2003 318i with 180k km on the clock. Had a shitload of repairs and still more to come, this car is cursed, seriously. Had to replace every fucking seal this engine has cause the oil was literally pouring out. Earlier I had to replace the rear exhaust cause it was so rusty it fell off. In the meantime there were dozens of smaller repairs. Next week I'm going to replace front shocks and swaybar bushings and God knows what else (expecting some minor/major fault of steering system). After that I should start saving money for clutch cause it's in a crappy condition. Pretty bad maintainence costs to me.
@@1704Gogo oh dude, you dug out nice gem. 6 years later, still got the car. Fuckload of money poured into it, but it runs and drives perfect-o. I love it and will never sell it. I Bought other BMWs and rarely drive the 318i though.
