Prices have gone up a bit, but I think amazon is still the cheapest. Canon TR150: amzn.to/3thNZI6 TR150 + Battery: amzn.to/3uGIvbj Epson WF110: amzn.to/3tUmKDx
I never thought about having a portable printer until I saw this video. I now see why it would be useful. Also, literally laughed out loud when you connected with customer service.
Loved this review and loved you ❤️ having been woken up by my sister early on a Sunday morning because she thought it was Monday, you made it worth it.
I use this printer in my truck for work. It saves the password for my hotspot and prints from my toughbook wirelessly and from my iPad. I'm able to access the printer settings from laptop or through the Canon Print app on my tablet. The genuine Canon ink is reasonably priced but the compatible ink is a steal. If I had one bad thing to say is the printer will shuns you if you don't power it down before you turn off your truck which turns off the inverter, but I'll probably invest in a battery. Also the occasional fake paper jam if paper is jolted off the guide
The Pixma iP110 was notoriously difficult to connect wirelessly at times. Sometimes I spent over an hour trying to get it to work. I hope they fixed all this with the TR150. Their customer service was also awful.
I have the previous model iP110 and will likely upgrade soon. These printers are good as printers meant to print documents on the go. We all know there isn't a FedEx office nearby when you need one and hotel printers are crappy.
Hey I have this printer and I’m looking for ways to improve the printing quality. It seems to be abit crap and it doesn’t meet the expense of the product. Is there any way to change the quality of printing the text and images?
Try Checking to make sure that you are not in the [save black ink] setting. If that doesn't work try turning on [auto photo fix] Don't know if that'll help all that much but its worth a try. Here is a link to find all the settings: ij.manual.canon/ij/webmanual/Manual/All/TR150%20series/EN/UG/ug-172.html Ill look into if there are any other options and get back to you with what I find.
By the way…is the frustrating wifi connection a Canon-thing? My current printer from Canon has the exact same problem and it’s the reason why I’m looking for a new printer.
I cant say for sure, but the way that the customer service guy answered my questions on the phone made it seem like he answers them a lot so there is a good chance it is the same across all canon products.
I came for the review because I just bought this and left knowing that if I’m ever stuck in the boonies fighting off lions I can easily use this printer for that one page I need to print per year.
can you get cheap ink? the problem with the epson is that the epson ink is ridiculously expensive and if you buy it refurbished , it is not recognized many times by the printer
I have been using the off-brand from amazon and they are pretty cheap. (something like $30 for 5 black) They have worked for me, but there are reviews saying they didn't work for some people.
@@LifeProjX yea for cannon I see they are reasonable, my only concern was that they will not work well with the printer but it seems acording to you that is not the case , thanks dude. I wish I had bought the cannon sooner now I am stuck with the epson
Omg. They told me the same thing yesterday when my iP110 stopped working. I couldn’t believe it. They were really snarky too. Canon’s customer service is unbecoming of such a prestigious company. They were awful.
The printer itself is great. Couldn't be happier with it, except ........................... yes, the bleeping wifi. It is a monumental PITA to connect. I don't even bother anymore. It takes about 10 seconds to plug in the cable and saves years of frustration. Why didn't they just make it Bluetooth capable? But that's my only bitch. I have used it a lot.Its always been completely reliable.
Thank you. you have answered the question I was searching for. Having had an ip110 and dealt with the wifi, I needed to know this could still plug in and print!
They definitely could have done a better job on the weight management overall. I really need to order the epson and do a comparison. If epson has durability with their lighter weight it might be the better choice.
goto canons website. they still have them. shop.usa.canon.com/shop/en/catalog/pixma-tr150?Product_Search&Google_Product_Feed&cm_mmc=GA-_-pixma_tr150-_-G_Canon_Product+Listing+Ads-_-47826
@@LifeProjX It lists it as if it is in stock but I actually did try to order it from them only to get a notice that it is backordered. Wanted to let you know in case your link is affiliate cuz I would have used it!
I appreciate it! If you find a good link where they are availiable let me know and Ill update the info. If its amazon it is an affiliate link for me, but I don't care much about that as long as people can find it.
