Great video I am from the UK and just bought a ford focus with my sync 2 . Very clear instructions far better than reading the ford manual which did not make much sense. I now can use my navigation with confidence and ease. :)

I bought a ford fusion 2014 SE, the car didn't come with a SD card so I bought an A5 SD card from a ford dealership, inserted it into the slot and it didn't work. Do I have to pay extra for the navigation system, the car comes with the sync voice turn by turn software but why can I install the map from the card?

Will it allow a passenger to do it while the vehicle is in motion? My current vehicle will not, and it's incredibly annoying. I know you can use voice on almost all vehicles, but that's not always convenient (phone calls, etc). Great video… this and the entertainment are very informative!

Yes and no. You can't via the screen, but you can using the voice commands. I honestly don't know if systems are set up that way because of liability or law. However most systems are restricted that way.
