For those eagle-eyed views who noticed, I chose not to install the shock cord as I didn't need the extra carrying capacity. It's there as an option though, for those who need it.
The trick is, as it is with all High-Low sellers, to buy the product when it's on sale. I was fortunate enough to bag this tonneau cover for $203, delivered, what a bargain!
I needed to make some room inside the cabin for another human. Having most recently expanded the Team at Dicey Ricey I wanted to find something cheap and good value. I looked into hard covers and into roller covers but read some reviews where these hadn't stood the test of time offroad. Getting a clip-on soft cover tonneau made sense as not only was it the best value options, and it also had no moving parts that could be damaged or wear prematurely due to my offroad adventures. Thus began the search for a soft cover for the LDV T60 Max!
Aussie Tonneaus had the cheapest soft cover going online in Australia at the time of purchasing! They supplied the product within a week and overall, I'm pretty happy with it. Looking forward to doing more 4wd tracks with it and the expanded Dicey Ricey Team.
When I initially read through the instructions some of it, I didn't quite understand and I couldn't find any owner installation guides or reviews on RU-vid so naturally, I busted out the camera, gave it a red hot go and taadaa, here we are.

Not yet I’m afraid. Mine didn’t come with the bar or the sailplane unfortunately. It was the ‘22 COVID special so no side steps, flares, roof rails or sports bar. If I come across someone wanting to swap theirs off I’ll do a video. 🤙

I picked up the T60 on Friday and have ordered the Aussie Tounno, it should be here late this week! I want to put some kind of boxes behind the wheel arches to hold tools and recovery gear in place.

Congratulations! Boxes behind the arches would be good. I’ve seen some swing out ones and stationary ones too. Personally, as you can see, I just let everything fly around the tub. 😏 I reckon jump on some of the T60 Modified Facebook pages and see what people are doing for storage. There’s some good ideas in those groups.

I think its a good idea when you don't need security from your cover and your not sure how you will use the tub as flexibility is maintained and at $203 you can just throw it way if you change your mind. I doo see some soft covers over time will sag and pool more and more water in the two spots you identified, and then create a tidal wave when they drive off. I'm thinking of storage boxes for mine, every other option is very expensive and limits access to your cargo.

Ooh, good question. I’ll tell you what, I’ll swing past LDV in the next couple of days and take a look at how the sail plane is fitted. I’ll come back to you. 🤙

Hey man, I had a look. It would be very fiddly and limit the function of the tonneau, but it could be done. You’d only be able to undo the tailgate end of the tonneau if you fitted this particular one. Could be worth looking into a roller shutter I think.
