I think that could have benefited the anime more cuzz the content of Arc's route is clearly meant to be told in more than just 12 eps. Hence why we got a pacing that is too in consistent, and i'm one of those people that tries to view the Anime ver as it's own thing rather than constantly comparing

It says a lot you went in with very low expectations, yet the biggest praise you can come up for this anime amounts to "It's mercifully short". About an adaptation, Tsukihime is probably better off letf alone. You know how Fate/Stay Night has 3 routes and discussions about which should be adapted and how tend to descend into pure shitflinging? Tsukihime has 5.

Now looking back, the show is probably more like a 4/10 overall. Even though there are moments in the show that are decent and make it seem closer to a 5 or 6/10, but it is still nothing too special. Despite how short the show already is, the sad thing is that it could be slightly better if it were shorter. The actual biggest praise I can give it, is the music and that it finishes pretty solidly. If you can watch it for free somewhere and are curious enough to check it out, it is not the worst thing in the world. However, it is a snooze fest 70% of the time. If Type -Moon wanted to, they could make a short series covering major moments from the VN in short few minute videos, like Pokemon Generations did. Or if they wanted to do something special, they could actually make 5 really solid OVAs based off of the routes from the game. So far the Fate/Stay Night anime adaptations have all been awesome IMO and I can hardly wait for the Heaven's Feel movies. Adapting a VN into an anime is a very tricky thing to do, and so far it seems like they are doing the best they can with Fate. There a bunch of Fate stuff coming out this year. They are really milking the Hell out of that franchise, so it might over shadow anything they may intend to do with other Type-Moon franchises. I started actually playing some of the Arcueid route and it makes me realize how they could've made the anime SO much better than it was. So now I feel some of the pain that long time fans had for so long. The best thing Type-Moon can probably do at this point is to finish that remake that they said they were working on. It might have voice acting, which will be a nice addition and some changes that seem like upgrades from the original.

I mean we were lucky enough to get a Kara no kyoukai movie/OVA series back in the day but now it's just FSN.

Nasu has an interview out (not sure where, skimmed it a while ago) and he himself is somewhat burned out, and wants to get back into tsukihime, mahoutsukai no yoru, notes, and the rest of the nasuverse, but is trying to finish up the FGO storylines he's on.
