320 is getting pretty coarse for plastic lens. The 500 should suffice for the most extreme cases (it did for my friend's 2001 Nissan Maxima SE, who's lens had severe oxidation/UV damage). 3M has a multi-stage kit that has a 500 grit sanding pad, 1000 grit, then the 3000, and finally buffing pad.
