I remember one time in a nerf war, i had a friend who had a bag full of these. He put on of them on his belt and grabbed the trigger and told me to watch. Now, all the enemy’s were in one spot, probably figuring out how to get us. This bitch runs next to them, trigger in hand and claymore on his belt, and goes suicide bomber and gets every enemy. Bloody legend.

You can actually use the remote detonation as a booby trap instead of the trip mine. For instance if you are playing in a house with a lot of rooms you can set up the claymore remote in such a way behind the door that when he bumps in hits the switch and then the caymore located on the other side detonates.

You could keep it on your belt and when someone gets too close you can use it like a shotgun

Love this! Could be used as a more effective grenade, as you could toss it into an enemy base and detonate it at will, which would be especially effective with the bouncy Rival ammunition.

Time to recreate that scene from Edge of Tomorrow where an unimportant side character blows themselves up with a claymore

I imagine that coop, when using this to hold an objective, would set up a terrascout and claymore so that if one misses the other hits, and, so that he has the confrontation on video.

A fix for the tripwire to make it far, far safer to use: Magnets on either end. The trip wire just comes loose when yanked, and if the magnets are the right strength, they'll still trip the catch reliably.

I just had a genius idea for this thing: you approach your opponent with your hands in the air mock surrender, claymore mounted to chest and either hide the fact that you're holding the detonator or someone else holds the detonator for you to explode once you're within range. That or use it as an absolute last resort weapon in hvz

The on off switch is on the inside so that if an enemy spots the claymore he can't just go and switch it off. The only person who can switch it on or off is you when you're loading it

Hey coop when you are doing slow motion shots, I would recommend doing them outside to avoid the flashing light issue. You can use the same setup you had, just do it outside on a sunny day. Great vid 👍

Coop, you can also use the tripwire as an anti lift/open mechanism. Hook it to a door leave a faux bandolier of ammo attached. So many options with this. Bought it for my son, and I love using it more than he does!

If you built a weighted stand for it or somehow attached the claymore to the ground so that the trip wire wouldnt pull the claymore, it might work better.

Bruh, attach it to your back then when an enemy appears you turn around and flash them (with the claymore)

Highly recommend to anyone if thier going to use this for Nerf Wars is fill it with cut up small lego size EVA foam materials, it gives a superior spread than using a couple of darts with a good chance of missing your opponents when triggered.

It's been a couple years, but I wonder how well the new Hyper rounds will work om this thing?

I wouldn't mind seeing a version of this made specifically for Nerf ammo. One that would hold more than what this version could hold, more sturdier legs, a design that can handle punishment, and a laser trip wire since the string one is not that effective.

It would be perfect for a game of Assassin, though. Hiding in a bush with a ghillie suit and the detonator, and placing this next to a door would be very difficult to counter.

It would be cool if there was a camera integrated and a video receiver on the remote so that you could see if an enemy was in sight if you were far away from the claymore.

I know this was from awhile ago but I was thinking, tape it to the ceiling facing the ground, attach the wire to the top of the door, someone opens it then boom. This really only works if you play in a house but I think it would be fun.

Hey everyone, the public library in Dubuque Iowa has public nerf wars every Saturday. I just got back from my first one, it was AWESOME!!!! I highly recommend it! It is encouraged to bring your own gun, but the library also has plenty you can use!
