V2 came out with double the cleaning power with half the product needed. Only 2% as a max needed makes it a no brainer. Bilt hamber smart and killed the competition with their new version!

Lot of those negatives are exclusive to the USA. Would suggest buying in bulk tbh. It’s so good you can’t beat it. PIR isn’t difficult to work out tbh. And you can snow foam at the right PIR in a manner that allows you to fill up the canon with Touch Less neat. This offers great economy like the sprayers AND you still get the great results and more protection against drying out. It works on “wetting out” a surface. It’s not a snowfoam to give dry foam that lasts for days and days on your drive or for an instagram photo shoot.

I recommend using it in Ik foam sprayer goes a very long way.

For reference I had to put in 650ml of product with 350ml of water in my foam cannon to hit 5% dilution on the panel. My pressure washer flows a lot of water, about 3.5 gallons of water to empty 1L of foam bottle.

Very little can compete with either Bilt Hambers products. A few are on the same or similar level, try getting yourself a hold of autoglanz spritzer / brute or shiny garage citrus oil, they are also great pre-washes / foams.

Thanks for the video. Try using a pump sprayer, you won't need as much product. 3 Litres of water and 120ml of Touchless, this is the correct amount for an average sized car like the Tesla you showed. With a pump sprayer the product will go further and still have the correct ratio. I hardly ever use the snow foam cannon for Touchless, no need to try and make it foam. If 3 Litres isn't enough up it to 4 Litres and 150ml of Touchless.

That’s actually a pH of 14 by itself. I just tested it yesterday. You definitely want to dilute it as explained. It will strip most LSP products & slowly damage ceramic coatings of used full strength. Thx
@BrianW1612
@BrianW1612 Год назад
Been using auto foam which is more potent than touchless. Rubbing the dirt into a panel is more damaging to your LSP than using a powerful chemical. If autofoam or touchless noticeably damages your wax or ceramic coating I'd be looking at better protection products.
@larrysing
@larrysing Год назад
@@BrianW1612 Any high pH soap - if undiluted - will damage ANY AND ALL coatings. I’m just pointing out that many people don’t know or care about how strong a soap is, and that ignorance can cause them to damage their coatings.
@BrianW1612
@BrianW1612 Год назад
@Larry Singleton Hi Larry, not disagreeing with you but, the PH is irrelevant. ANY shampoo/soap even PH neutral will damage your LSP if used incorrectly. If people can't follow clear, concise instructions then they shouldn't be anywhere near someones car with chemicals.
@larrysing
@larrysing Год назад
@@BrianW1612 Well you’d have to be IQ 75 to damage your car with pH neutral soap. Like use a Brillo pad on or it something LOL. The chemical itself is not harmful. You could pour a whole bottle of pH 7 soap on your car & your coating/wax/lsp will be fine. It’s the higher or lower pH cleaners that do 99% of the damage.
@BrianW1612
@BrianW1612 Год назад
@Larry Singleton strictly speaking, not true. Fallout remover is PH neutral isn't it. Applying this on the paint & allowing to dry will cause damage and you also get fallout remover shampoos that will do the same. Megs wash plus+ is also a PH neutral shampoo but contains abrasives which greatly degrade & even strip LSPs. Ph neutral isn't the be all & end all. In fact it tells you very little about how safe or dangerous a product is. Might give an indication but plenty of PH neutral foams are caustic & contain salt, 2 bad ingredients that both Bilt Hambers products of PH 12 don't contain.

I’m looking for a solution for a completely touch-less wash for those times when my newly, (6 mos. ago), ceramic coated black SUV is just dusty. I’d like your opinion on whether it would be safe and reasonably effective to use Bilt Hammer’s Touch-Less and then just pressure spray with my CR Spotless system. Will the BH Touch-Less come off completely without a contact wash? I’m trying to touch my paint as little as possible especially since it’s black.

Hey AJ, that is a great idea. It is safe and reasonably effective to do a TOUCH-LESS wash on this vehicle especially after only a short amount of driving. You can even dry the car afterwards with a blower to keep the touchless method rolling. Though doing this often without reapplying any sort of topper or booster risks diminishing that coating over time. It'll be subtle and minimal but I think still happening. Coatings are very chemically resistant and strong. They can take a great deal of abuse so washing here and there with high or low pH stuff won't strip it right away. But if every single wash is with these products then it's a different story. I'd recommend sticking to a pH neutral soap for a good amount of the mild cleaning and save the TOUCH-LESS for more dirty washes. The unfortunate reality of this is that you'll almost always need a contact wash unless you're committed to doing this like twice weekly.

@@barbastelladetailing2362 Thanks for the quick and thoughtful response. I do like to use a blower when I’m not applying a topper. I usually pre-wash with GSF in a foam canon and then a bucket of GSF with 6 chenille wash mitts, (No rinse bucket needed). If I want extra gloss and slickness then I’ll dry the vehicle with Gyeon Ceramic Detailer and a couple Liquid8r drying towels. I’m also intrigued by the Griot All Purpose Cleaner. What dilution ratio do you use in your foam canon for this product? Do you have any idea what the pH level before dilution is? Lastly would either the Touch-less or Griot’s work just as well in an IK sprayer instead of the foam canon? Thanks, love your channel.

@@ajhinaman86 great wash method, no rinse bucket to cause potential scratches. Those are great towels and a fantastic detailer to use so right on with those. As for the griots APC I believe it's a pH of 11 or higher. The label doesn't say and neither does the website. But it's very alkaline and has D-limonene so I'd expect 11 or higher. I use it in the foam Cannon at a 500ml water and 200ml water so about 4:1. Both griots APC and BH touchless work wonders in pump sprayers and IK sprayers as well. I just spray it on without foam sometimes but both ways work great. They never need more then 60-90 secs to really bite into dirt and remove it. Thank you!!

It is extremely economical when used through a pump sprayer, 4% PIR equates to 40ml of product to 1Litre of water. (40ml = 1.35 US fluid ounces) (1 Litre = 1 quart) Therefore 1.35 ounces per quart.👍

does using it via a pump sprayer reduce its cleaning/foaming abilities since it's not being as airated with both air & runing water as it would be from a foam canon?
@stevenstylianou107

@@statusquoreject It does not reduce its cleaning abilities via a pump sprayer, however, it does not produce any foam when used this way, but that doesn’t mean less cleaning!

Hi I’m from the uk and use Bilt Hamber touchless it’s a fantastic product but I would check your PIR calculations as I think you are using far too much in the lance, a 5 litre bottle should last you a long time
@BrianW1612
@BrianW1612 Год назад
PIR is pretty much spot on. Most set ups tend to be 50/50 in a 1L bottle when using through a foamer. That said you should be getting at least 3 cars worth out of that 1L bottle. You only need to wet the panels with the product, not 'soak' them. Putting a thick layer on is just a waste of product, you want a thin layer & nothing more. Almost the same concept as applying a wax with regards to thinner is better.
