Review of Bissell 3624 SpotClean Professional Portable Carpet Cleaner

My friend has been pleased with this vacuum. I put it together and other than one of the wheels coming back out(which I had a bit of difficulty with) ru-vid.comUgkxnBiz5H40H0BTcRcPDEHZkcV2smSjfUD0 it was easy to assemble. It's worked well and the large size has been handy for vacuuming up sawdust around my friend's tablesaw. The wheels and handle make it simple to move around, so the bulky size isn't overly a negative, unless you're lacking on space. It has a bag that can be used to collect the dust, though it doesn't have to be used. It works perfectly great without it and it is an added expense when replacing the bag. If vacumming water, just leave it out. It comes with various attachments, which are handy. A durable bag attaches to the handle to hold them and I love this feature. It has good power and it's a nice option for a shop vac.

Power drill with that attachment and good cleaning solution are the champs of any job.

Picked up ours the other day. Absolute awesome machine.

We use a pressure washer on ours and are in sire carpets until the water runs almost clear and then we start washing we find it saves us a lot of manual frustration and we don't put so much pressure on the carpets that they're being torn apart course were also just cleaning our carpets at home... So glad to see that your machine has the unfinished/washed out looking plastic on the side with the exhaust. Thought i had been sold a refurbished machine, now i know its just cheap plastic they couldnt be bothered treating with some sort of gloss or shine!

The Drill brush and carpet machine make a nice combo.

Have one for over a year. Works amazingly but be careful of pressing down too hard. Broke handle and had to order a replacement hose and handle. To replace you have to take the whole machine apart. Sounds bad but was not hard. Half hour of time and patience. There are tutorials out there to guide you. Handle should have been metal. Otherwise it is awesome

Love this machine. Use it to clean car upholstery and carpet, sofas, chairs, mattress etc. The cleaning solution smells great. It has great suction. I would definitely get a drill brush set for agitation. And to take the dirty water tank cover off push the handle to the left an pull up. Didn't know that until I watched another video ( it's not in the manual). Rinse the hose by sucking up clean water when your done .And don't hook the extractor head onto the holder during storage. Everyone says it eventually tears the hose just below the trigger. Other than that I definitely love this machine.

Finally found one that shows how to open the dirty tank. Nearly broke the dang cover. Thanks!

Thanks for the review, it really shows how good the soap you use is, what will really tell about the vacuum would be my what percentage of the liquid contained in the clean tank was sucked back into the dirty side, that will tell how good of a suction it has and how much of the liquid actually was absorbed by the fabric and not sucked back into the cleaner.

Absolutely satisfied with 2x the brushing

I have this vacuum, only complaint about it is that I wish there was at least 2 more feet in the hose, also you do not want to be constantly yanking the hose, it will tear. After each use, flush out with warm water to clear the machine of hairs and debri. Get the drill brush attachment also! It's like 25$ for 3 different drill brush attachments.

Is this similar to the hoover spotless vaccum? I bought it and to be honest it has very little power. The clear end makes it seem like it’s sucking a lot in but it’s really not that strong

Do you hold that trigger down when you’re making passes to pull the cleaning product from the drill brush up? Or do you just vacuum it up. I’m not going to be putting a solution into the water tank just what I spray on the carpet. Any suggestions or advice?

So I got mine for auto detailing. Worked great for 90 seconds, then the thing died. Smelled like electrical burned out. Wouldn't turn back on. Anyone experience this? Had used same outlet for vacuum, with no prob. Even a GFCI outlet. Waiting for new one.

Is it a good idea to agitate fabric mats with a pressure washer, then use the bissel to extract? The drill looks cool, but punching the fabric with a pressure washer might be more effecient

Do not put boiling water from the kettle in the clean water holder. The plastic softens and deforms I know this from experience. Had to order a replacement, otherwise awesome

Would it not have been better and easier to pressure wash it.

Doing all that extra stuff kinda negates the review of the machine, most people don't pretreat and power scrub their carpets before using their 160 dollar vacuum to clean the carpets.
