I'm glad I saw this video. I just ordered a few months supply of these but after watching this I still want to purchase some real MRE's for the situations when you don't have the time or means to cook. Thanx a ton for this video.
To add on other unpractical issue I'll name 3rd reason this isn't viable survival food... You have to cook it in a pot pan etc.. Not the packaging.. Major issue.. Going back to the water issue.. Now you need clean water to clean the pot!
I just want to point out for any future watchers researching efoods products as I currently am.. No mater how it tastes here is the conclusion I'm drawing... THIS IS NOT A VIABLE PREPPING/ EMERGENCY FOOD PRODUCT! This stuff requires way way way too much water to rehydrate.. 4-1/2 cups for 1 cup serving? Everything else is 16oz water for entire package.. In emergency use water is going to be in sort supply using 8x as much of the most valuable item is.. Um.. Stupid! Second issue I'm seeing is... The time to cook is as bad as how much water it uses.. If you are cooking with a camp fire this isn't an issue.. But if you are backpacking, camping, or cooking inside with a small fuel stove.. You could make 4 competitors meals and purify 5 gallons of water for the same amount of used fuel.. Horribly designed product that is going to get a lot of ignorant people killed
