He probably would have been known the truck while filming the interior 😊. Sadly, he only ever got to ride in it going to the hospital. But I know he is up there enjoying himself and running free and wild in beautiful meadows 😊
Hello Hilton. Great to see the video on your new truck. I looks lovely in white and the alloys are gorgeous. The 2.2 diesel should be very good for relaxed driving. We don't get the Everest here but it looked familiar. Then you mentioned the Ranger and that was it, we do get the Ranger. Next video perhaps a detailed wash and wax ...... or detailed look under the bonnet. Have a great weekend and enjoy the heat, its only 10 degrees in Northern Ireland ;-(
Thanks Andy. I'm surprised you guys don't get these there since they're made in Australia in RHD. As for washing and waxing that would be quite a challenge. There's a lot of real estate to cover 😜. Hi Hilton. I would imagine that's the same lump that's in the Jaguar XF 2.2 diesel's from 2011 to 2015...before they started building their own (where I work!!). If it is...its in many cars / vans and is thought of as bombproof. Same engine is in all the mk 4 Ford Mondeos, 2008 to 2014. Its a Peugeot engine.

@@mrek2068 LoL, I think you just did ;D I can't lie, I'm enjoying the elevated ride. I can see over car's roofs and visibility is so much better now. Just wish I had more power. I miss my XFR's gobs of power. Overtaking was a breeze and it would just laugh at steep hills.
Glad to see a video on the Everest Hilton! I like the car very much, although I'm not the biggest SUV fan in general. I love the idea of some mods done to the car, and since it's still 'factory' you can see it as a blank canvas! I'd love to hear your thoughts on its biggest competitor, the Fortuner; and if you would have rather chosen it over the Everest, given the opportunity? Keep the great videos rolling!
Thanks Anton 🤗. Hopefully I will be doing a driving review of the Everest soon in which I will compare it to the Fortuner. Both are very capable cars and I've driven the current Fortuner before so I have a good reference for comparison.

I worked at Ford for 3 months here in Germany and I knew all the ford Models and the upcoming ones but I have never seen this model. I am pretty sure that the EU market won't get it. Maybe you could do a video showcasing cars from South Africa which aren't available in the EU. I think there are some more
Thanks mate. That's a very good idea. A video of cars one doesn't get elsewhere in the world. This SUV was developed in Australia as was the Ranger. There's a new one on the way which looks very American, but I wouldnlove to do a video on models not available elsewhere 😉
The Everest is known as the Endeavour in some markets such as India. It has been on the market since 2015 in its current form, and is available in some markets like India, Australia, South Africa, Vietnam, Thailand and some other Asian countries. Like @JagFan Hilton mentioned, a replacement is due sooner than later, but likely wont come to other markets than those mentioned above.
Love your videos.. appreciate local content. My brother in law has the same model n colour Everest. Awesome ride, super comfortable.. speakers have noise cancelling. Electric tailgate retrofit is a must.. we did this install.. quite easy. Bought online from Autoease.
Hi Hilton , so glad you made this video I was wondering how you were liking it . A big change from the Jag but it’s a really nice SUV. I finally got rid of my X260 . Was not a patch on the x250 so I’m still looking for a replacement .

Nice to see you back bud, that’s a nice car my wife has a similar ish new BMW X1 x something or other it has intelligent 4 wheel drive what ever that is and to be honest it’s not really that different to you car but a little smaller ,A bit more bling bling maybe and all that rubbish but I can get my drums in it so that’s all I care about . Looking forward to seeing you get stuck into this gonna be good 👍 I’ve actually been watching racer 69 as well he’s a cool guy has heck of a nice car . LoL. Sorry it's so cold there mate. We had a miserable winter here so summer is more than welcome. The BMW X drive is pretty good. Sends drive to the wheels that need it most. A diff lock does come in handy tho. You could fit an entire bands instruments in this SUV. Hopefully you guys enjoy some of the mods I do to it. 😉🤗
XLT ….does that stand for ‘Xtra’ Large Tank by any chance ….hahahaha that thing is huge….but unlike some SUVs, it actually looks quite big inside, compared to some of the more ‘luxury’ brands which seem like a tardis in reverse. Great to see you’re continuing to make car related videos on YT…I don’t think I’d ever buy an SUV (just have no need for one) but your break downs and details continue to keep me hooked (still miss the Jag though 😉😎)
Hey make at least 2 videos a month! You can still report on the suv or the Jaguar! Just go to a dealership a review uses or current models! You have a great knack for it!

Thanks Anthony. I actually don't keep it clean. It's very dirty right now and needs a wash. I've already done quite a few mods to it but didn't film them because nobody is interested. The views I got on my first video of this truck were appalling so it's not worth the fort. I've given up on the channel for now. But not my car. I've done some ambient lighting, wood trim wrap, led bulbs for the headlights and indicators and a few other things. It's coming on nicely.
Would like to see some footage of the vehicle in its natural habitat (out and about). Also if possible some reliability updates and service experiences like with the previous two jags you had. I know some owners had some gearbox issues and engine issues on the 3.2 5 cyl motors, but it would be nice to have an honest owners views on maintaining a 2.2 auto as these are really nice vehicles to drive.

Try googling Jaguar 2016 and up map update. You should find a link to Jaguars maps downloads. You can then download the map onto the SD and have your country.
Hi brother. How are you ...i just a small problem or question to ask.. My 2016 jaguar xf ....the Bluetooth keep disconnecting from the music and normal radio starts playing .. After few sec I can see the Bluetooth option again ..and then it connects... Then after few sec again disconnects and goes to radio again . Plz do help ..thank u
Hi. My 2016 did the same thing. Bluetooth would also drop calls midcall. You need to ask the dealer to update the system for you. Ford have an update one can download onto usb and then do it yourself. Perhaps Google for an update for your car and see if anything pops up. The update did fix my Bluetooth issues.

@@carfanfan I checked everywhere even on eBay but these are for the old model maybe. because my mechanism has two wires, one of which is for soft closing. I can show you picture if you want
@@simeontodorov7647 I see. Younhave the soft close trunk. That may be a bit harder to come by 2nd hand. Have you tried your local scrap yards? Otherwise your only option will be brand new from the dealer. What I would do is first get a quote from the dealer for a new replacement then you have a yard stick of what it costs and whether or not you're getting a good deal on a 2nd hand one.
It is an SUV version of the Ranger. But it doesn't have the same suspension. It has independent suspension front and rear and disc brakes all 4 corners. The 3.2 in South Africa is indeed a V6 and not a 5 cylinder. That engine has been around for almost a decade now and is still available in the new Everest and ranger except it has two trubos and is a beast of an engine. The new Ranger is built in South Africa for all markets while the Evereat is built in Thailand and imported. Also known as the Endeavor in that market.

@@carfanfan no worries at all ;) I only paid attention to that because for a long time I was incorrectly assuming myself the 3.2 was a 6 cylinder. turned out it was exactly the same design as 2.2 (btw. it's basically a ford transit van engine made since 2006) only with one more cylinder. for a second I though that maybe indeed ford put a completely different engine for the south african market as they did in the past (I remember ford sierra being available as a V8 only for that market) but google quickly cleared all doubts. all the best mate!
