I can tell that it is my favourite perfume even though I havent bought yet. I bought lalique white in black (best clone of Layton) and out of all the fragrance I have , lalique is the best ! Amazing scent.
Funny thing is I was just admiring a new watch I got today and as I was putting it in my case, I wanted to smell the cap of my Layton. It is truly a magnificent scent and I can’t wait till it gets cooler out 😈
I pulled the trigger on it around April and I couldn’t be more happy. Got a 125 ml for around $143 or eBay and I love it. People around me have loved it too. Beware
One of my favorites out of my collection. I really enjoy the menthol feel to it. Gives a very cooling, sweet, sexy vibe. I’ve come to enjoy the menthol feel the most. I get a menthol, apple , vanilla, cardamom fragrance. I really enjoy this fragrance forget the hype it’s 🔥

Layton is one of the best fragrances on the market imo. I drank the Kool aid when Exclusif came out and bought that one instead, but I wish I had got regular Layton. I think it's better than Exclusif, but redundant to have both.
I just got PDM Layton & Sedley for my birthday. Can't wait to give them a try. With the cost of everything going up these are the 2 I can afford. PDM Sedley for spring- summer PDM Layton for fall-winter colognes I'm going to have to get more PDM when I can get them As well as other colognes from other houses I want to have for my collection
I haven´t tried a fragance that has given me more compliments than this, and I have tried everything. Just Ani from Nishane, Milessime Imperial, Hawas Rasasi, have come close, but not to the level. Specially compliment from women.
First time i got my nose on layton i thought it was 'almost' the perfect fragrance, i would slightly tweak the apple note but still a real beauty, 9.5 / 10 👌
I have bought 2 perfums de marly from discounters and I have been disappointed. Herod smells great for 30 minutes and then disappears. Layton smells good but not as hyped as I thought. Lasts 2 hours and it’s gone. Now I have to buy from official site of PDM Layton and Carlisle and maybe Pegasus
First, of all many people say that Herod is reformulated and many people are complaining that 2020 batches of Layton have poor performance. I cannot confirm that because I don't have new batches, but these fragrances need to age a bit, so either you have got new reformulated batches or the fragrances need to age a bit. Also in 2018 Layton has really big batch variations so a person might have the best batch and praise the fragrance and another person might have bad batch and thinks that Layton is overhyped.
@@leetaipe I am really glad to hear that. I don't know for sure too, I just have seen that people are complaining about the new 2020 batches. I have a 2018 batch and it is way above average in terms of performance. In my opinion the fragrance needs to age a bit. People buy it, open it, spray it and immediately say that it has bad performance.
I really love layton, and i re bought again. Very good fragrance but the performance is moderate not like most of the reviewers claim thst its a beast mode. I have layton exclusif too and its amazing ,not a mass pleaser but its unique and beast mode
Just got Layton for a great price on venba fragrances it should come later this week I did a blind buy after seeing this but I wanted it for a while was just very pricey
Honestly I have never had a Parfume de Marley product because frankly I can’t afford it! I would have to save up for that. Would love to try it but kid school clothes and supplies come first..
I agree with King Rolle. You can Club De Nuit Intense as a 99% clone of Aventus. Layton doesn’t have a clone and while I love both, Layton just edges out Aventus.
Easily in my top 3 scents of all time. Fo sho. Bottle has macerated perfectly over the last 20 months. Easily lasts a whole day. Get constant whiffs and once my body heats up. It goes ballistic blasting people from 5m away. Shiiiiiiiiiiii. Super sexy scent.
Parfums de Marly has REFORMULATED Layton. I own an older formulation which has an alcohol concentration of 78%. The new formulation I see in stores has 82% alcohol. The new formulation does not last as long and it smells different. Parfums de Marly fragrances are ALWAYS getting reformulated and become much weaker than their ORIGINAL releases. Parfums de Marly HAS NOT been transparent when it comes to the reformulation of their fragrances. Carlisle, Herod & Oajan have also been reformulated and have 3%-4% more alcohol in newer batches.
