Hi @Mojaxx can you use this interface to play timecode vinyl and switch to real vinyl in the same set ? Do you need any extra equipment to allow you to do this with my master sounds radius 4V ? hope you can help...thanks :)
Didn't understand the release of a 2chn box cutting out the recording option. I've been using an audio 6 with Rekordbox but the record option is locked out. I'm waiting to see what happens with Ver.5
Why using the interface with the 250mk2 while the 250mk2 has an integrated interface already? would be nice to see it with a different mixer...look forward to the review of the 250mk2....I have it but not sure about the Magvel fader
Hi world. Here are my impressions based on this gear, and this video which influenced me into buying this . DON'T WASTE YOUR MONEY! The audio quality is not superb at all! If you read some threads on forums you'll find lots of people complaining about the thru-phono mode. Pioneer admitted they installed cheap djm250 phono-preamps which are not so good like on the 750mk2 or 900....cause you know MARKETING. So to Dj city i'd like to thank for misleading people, stating SUPERB SOUND (I don't think you even tested the gear thoroughly) and praising Pioneer. No worries, there are other options... Take Allen n Heath, they never compromise the sound quality regardless of the unit price, rather than Pioneer who does so. I give credit to Pioneer just for cdjs and rekordbox, that's it, everything else is disappointing at some level.
yeah but dude, I don't want to manage multiple library over multiple software, soo apart from getting a 750mk2 /900 I don't have a solution to do timecode on rekordbox
Man this stuff is so confusing. I've been djing for years using older equipment. I finally purchased a new laptop, 2 turntables (1200's) and have tons of digital music and vinyl. I don't know what box to buy...do I get this, Traktor, an old Rane or Denon...plz help. Thx!
@@dbzlouis So essentially; get this solely for the DVS license since it's the cheapest, and get proper phono stages and interfaces for the tables if you want to spin actual vinyl?
@@dbzlouis would the system accept both vinyl and timecode on the same table connected via my own hardware if the interface 2 is only connected via usb to provide the hardware unlock? Cause that'd be great

I saw your reviews on RU-vid and I need your help please, I wasn't a Mobile DJ as they call it now but now I must to become a mobile DJ because i moved to another country and I need to continue my career here and I bought the Pioneer DJ DDJ-RB to check it on and now I need to change it and buy a new controller for home use and outside use also but I don't know which controller to buy really the DDJ-RX with (Rekordbox DJ) or The DDJ-SX2 (Serato DJ)...?? DJ Valentino AM i can suggest you from a point of view from rekordbox. I really like the pioneer gear and rekordbox dj is a very solid aproach to the flagship cdjs and djm, but the thing is rekordbox dj does not have enough time in the industry, and certainly you will expierience some unforgivable bugs on the software that can be a problem for your gigs, so maybe you should go for ddj sx, and if you really want to use rekordbox, you can still use the sx with rekordbox, the difference is that you will have to buy rekordbox. But you can get the best of 2 worlds 👍🏻
it should be possible. you have to download the signal tone and burn it to cd and then it goes from the CDJ 1000 through the interface 2 into the software and should work fine
poodlelord yeah, and they are worried more about launching useless hardware for the competence rather than upgrading the software, which it has some outrageous bugs, i had some problems with master tempo, jog wheels doing whatever they want, I feel really scared if that happens to me sometime in a gig
good interface box for dvs only but if you play proper vinyl through the interface the vinyl sounds like a 128k mp3 not the original sound of the vinyl and level of the through put is set at -3db compared to mp3 output. I'm gutted that I bought one cos it makes my vinyl sound sh-te.
Needle dropping with vinyl in relative mode don't work. If your planning for this software to be anything like Serato and you use relative mode all the time with vinyl, then your shit out of luck.
