The most important part: DO NOT BECOME DISCOURAGED BY THE LETTERS BEING DIFFERENT ! It is just a dozen or so letters, nothing like Chinese. Reading Russian is extremely easy! Think how horribly difficult is to read English, where the letters are not related to the pronunciation. In Russian - they fully are. You have memorized the letters - you can read Russian.

People she didn't wear different outfits for each letter lol. they had a series called learn russian alphabet easily where they teached all this but in seperate videos. This video is basically clips united from all these videos xD

Why are the cursive letters so different from normal letters? I mean English letters aren't that different from its cursive counterpart. It is like drawing a dog but you end up with a cat

I am a Korean person trying to learn Russian because I really like Russia and culture and the language sounds cool! Uppercase Deh in Russian is D in Cursive English and lowercase is G in Lowercase Cursive English and i dont see how is it related lolol Geh in Russian is like G in Korean too but reverse (like you see opposite side in mirror) At last, Yoo letter is like "eo (aw/awe)" sound in Korean again in reverse

Yup! I'm a native Spanish speaker but pretty soon English took over everything and I'm not so good anymore. When I was trying to say Venus in Russian for one of the lessons I really struggled alot with the rr. For some reason I had to prep myself up with inglaterra, marron, and ferrocarril before trying to say it and even then for some reason my tongue really didn't like saying it for only that one word lol

The character " Щ" has not been explained correctly. It really consists of two sounds: "Ш" and "Ч", said subsequently. It is difficult for some ethnic groups to produce "шипящие" (shipyashtshiye - hissing) sounds.

They did the letters in a weird grouping system: A, K, M, O, and T for example was the first group she taught because of English similarities, hence the same clothes worn 33 different outfits would be really tough, but she is pretty though
