For a second I wondered, "Why doesn't Neil just drag the shutter to get the background darker?" and then I realized, "D'oh! He's using continuous light." Great stuff, Neil! FINALLY we get to hear in real-time how you finesse those poses!

As an aside ... with flash, you would 'drag the shutter' to brighten the background.

I don't know? The music in the background is a royalty-free soundtrack that I bought.

Will this make the models and clients squint ?

It will if they look towards the light - this is a risk with any kind of ring light that you shoot through, or near.

Hi Mr Neil, video suggestion, Can you please do a Video on Studio Flash Photography without a Light Meter, I am Hobbyist Photographer, It seems like its Trial and Error without a Lightmeter. Thanks for the response :)
