FIRST OFF: Cousin Rodney you clocked Amir’s tea from THEEEE very beginning., he wanted to be on tv. You said he was on the show to get closer to his black side and you were right!!! Bria…can she just go home already. First she brought the dog and didn’t ask, me personally I would be raising my hand saying “I feel uncomfortable with the dog”, now let’s take a vote on it 🤣 If there is a rule that says significant others can only stay 3 days, then that’s the rule. Bria is manipulative and a brat. When she doesn’t get what she wants she starts to pull at straws and twist things around to make herself the victim in EVERY situation. Her behavior is very dangerous in my opinion and not good for the show and the narrative she’s putting on black people. Think about it, she was “afraid of Mariah and crying saying she was aggressive and she felt uncomfortable ”, now Silas is a racist and he speaking to her in a loud voice and she said multiple times he’s controlling all the whole crying because she’s now afraid of this dark skinned aggressive black man (a narrative she created)! I don’t like it one bit. Send her ass to Summer House where she belongs….her and her big brother Amir 😂 And Nick know damn well he ain’t got a girlfriend. I didn’t see them kissing in not one photo, no sexy beach photos, or romantic dinner dates? if you ask me she could be a good friend from college that visits occasionally. None of the photos were “couple” photos. They gave friend tease to me🤷🏽♀️
And y’all wonder why men don’t like showing emotions and choose to off themselves instead. Like how is men crying embarrassing when women cry for any stupid reason
@@XPXhumble I think the issue that people are having is how ingenuine the crime obviously was. Please stop with the “black men can’t show emotion” facade. It doesn’t apply to this situation
There is a 3 day rule for guests so I don't understand why Bria thought she was going to get additional accommodations. She brought the dog. They are lucky they let her stay.
Bria obviously didnt listen to Silas because he said he would like to see more black women married, he said preferably by black men but in general just black women married. He never said only black men she twisted his words. Yes Bria told them her man was coming but I think she may should have told them when they were sober and in the house not while they partying. This is the first time I agree with what Silas said its manipulative. I also didnt like how she tried to say Silas was "aggressive" because he was hurt and got loud by what she said , she possibly subconsciously made it look stereotypical but thats just my PO.
Nick really tried to play us for fools. Guys who don’t post their girlfriends on social media are trying to appear single. His thirsty comments on all his housemates posts were inappropriate
He's in a frat so he was tryna be cool. They always stay in that fraternity state of mind. I'm just laughing at Rodney cuz he wanted him to be gay so bad. I never felt he was.
I really didn’t think it was a big deal for the boyfriend to come cuz he would be stay in her room and they already got rid of 2 ppl But Bria is a lot and I can see why nobody would want to do anything for her
The thing about Bria….they’ve accommodated her TOO many times already. The fact that she can’t seem to understand why they don’t want him there the last week is crazy to me. I mean, she claims Simon has so much money. If that’s the case…why not get a hotel for the last four days? That way you can swing from the rafters if you wanted. 😂🤷🏾♀️
I think Nick having a secret girlfriend is a made-up storyline. Im thinking, the guy's storyline was supposed to be that they all would vie for Jasmine's attention. I say this because Amir, who is head over heels for Jasmine, is newly married (to a non-black woman), and his, alleged, anti black women tweets have resurfaced online. Nick and amir had girlfriends the entire time but either pretended not to so they could be casted or the producers told them to.
I love you so much Rodney. You’re like my virtual cousin for real. I didn’t think about the black cast thing with Simon coming on the trip. Very interesting.
They've been giving bria her way from the jump and that's where they fucked up. They really shouldn't be surprised by her behavior, they created that monster.
Y’all let me know, but when Bria said her boyfriend was coming “the last week” I took that as he was coming the last week of the trip, not for the duration of the last week. Am I the only one? Either way, Bria should be happy that she hasn’t been voted out of the house herself because her and her dog should’ve been gone. We’ll take Mariah back!
Exactly! That could have been interpreted many ways. That’s why she should have sat them down and had an actual conversation asking for permission. Not just telling them on the fly. She is literally the worst house guest
I’m not accepting anything, unless I watch how it’s being made because that’s how do you become a statistic not from everybody, but some intentions are not genuine.
@mary jane’s baby it's not about genuine intentions or watching anyone make drinks. We all should know by now not to just drink anything handed to us. I'm simply taking about a man offering to buy me a drink. It absolutely sends out a message that I'm unavailable and able to engage in a conversation. Him buying my a drink is based off of his attraction for me.
Cause he was raised around racist. I mean, eventually, he would started to self-hate because he said he was made fun of because he was black, and I believe that his perception of himself was negative. He said this on the show he always thought being black was one way. But he was still f$$Ed up about that laundry thing.
I'm surprised Silas doesn't have a problem with Shanice. I don't think it wpuld be a good idea to be out in the streets with her. She is immature and doesn't seem like she understands no. Absolutely not.
Heres the thing Rodney, we dont know what type of Non Black household Amir grew up in, in addition to that, he went to a mostly White school. He was obviously a teenager when he posts those tweets, and at that point it seems like he was taught to see Blackness through a White lense. Now as an adult hes trying to learn about Black culture, and he appears to be willing to learn, i dont see anything wrong with that.....
@@allin3940 he said he didn't know his father who would be his Black parent, and he said he went to a mostly white school??? What else are you looking for?
I'm not gonna lie, I'm one of those people who are trying to give Amir the benefit of the doubt bc of how he was raised . I'm conflicted 😫🙈 nie let me be clear he don't do it for me so I ain't worried about his looks 😂
Living by myself as a single woman and then getting married at 27 I prefer not having to look over my shoulder 24/7 and having my husband to raise our two children together. Part of the benefit of being married and living with your spouse is not doing everthing by yourself. If you are in a healthy relationship the two of you lean on each other. What Silas is saying about her not accepting drinks from other men is not wrong, please Silas is west African and most of them are very protective of their women.
IMO Nick presents as a dandy who can appreciate the sensuality and beauty of women, hence the fire emoji’s on the playboy bunnies IGs, but is likely gay no shade and no judgement….I know plenty of gay fraternity brothers. Also there is a slight disconnect with man who appears to have intellect and emotional intelligence with regards to women, yet was also only capable of sending slightly corny comments (emoji’s) on their IG pages. He didn’t appear to be checking for Bria, Shaniece or Jordan IRL.
Also lets not be dumb amd think just because Amir' mom is white and didn't have a relationship with his black side. Amir's mom is from Lebanon. She is not a white american. He is black. Lets not act like his doesn't look black. He black.. he has made a choice to not embrace it. Those tears were crap. Idc.
GWORL….I really wanted to go there. Amir looks 100% black so I don’t understand this not being black enough from him. it’s hard for me to understand and maybe it’s not meant for me to. I have 100 questions for him lol
I know after 2020 we ushered in this new Era of GIRL U AINT GOT TO LISTEN TO THIS MAN. But now it seems that goes for husbands too🥴. But the flipside it was well yall ain't married. He don't care about your welfare. But now it seems when they are married and he do talk , care and express his feelings. He still public enemy🧐. But how...this lady married him. They're a unit nowwww!!!👀 Jordan your friends married. There's a boundary now love. Who invites thier married friends out to drink solo🙆🙆🙆
@Ariesluv it makes sense to me that she might have felt threatened by her. I could understand not wanting her around, especially after she didn't even apologize. That wasn't right to get in her face like that and to get a bit physical.
Silas was only tryna show Preston work ethic in fitness. When u work out they say 1 more. Now gimme 2 more. Now hold for 5 seconds. GOOD JOB. U don't get results half working out and then having a drink and wings later. If u saw what people u ogle on IG eat. You wudnt even want to go out to eat w them. You wud be like wtf is this. 😶😶😶lol
This tweet is literally from 2012. I believe he was still in high school. I just feel like it don’t count when you’re growing. Nevertheless…. He gives Uncle Tom.
Also him being German and us having to stop snd explain the African American diaspora wpuld become annoying. Like im happy to educate but it would take away from the trip and the experience. I'm saying that even of she was black german. Its more than skin color.
I'm going to disagree with you about Amir. What I mean is I will give him the benefit of the doubt. People can elvole. We don't know him personally, so we just don't know. I'll use myself as an example. As a black gay boy I went to high school in a majority white Connecticut town. I did not see Black boys. Just not what I wanted. Let me tell you, I moved back to NY after graduation and had a taste of black 🍆 that was all she wrote. White what? As I get older, my mind is open and I like all kinds of guys. My point is everyone has the ability to change their mind.
Amir is half white and it seems like his dad wasn’t around. Soooooo what do y’all expect from him??? And the tweets are more than 10 years ago. Let it go!
Amir looks 100% black, and a lot of our fathers were and are not around. So what’s your point? So because his father was absent that gives an ok for the tweet? Ummm ok…We can let it go, now that we called it out tho.
@@RodneyThaVoiceYou have to factor in that he was not raised by a black family. He was raised in a white community with a Lebanese family where his race and skin color were considered inferior. Imagine what that does to the psyche of a child. A black male child at that.. Ofcourse he grew up with self hate. Shoot, most black Americans grow up with some level of self hate just by being born in this country, this is why we perm our hair straight, wear wigs that resemble non black hair texture, have colorism issues etc.. So I personally applaud Amir for at least growing out of his self hate and attempting to make connections with his black side.
Bria is giving me Candiace vibe. Candiace love to play the colorism card and Bria loves to play the racist card. Bria should have went to Summer House. SHMV is about black excellence.
I’m sorry but I don’t like this show at all . The brattiness , the voting , the pooping in someones bathroom. They act like they own the house . I watch the original Summer House series , as well as Winter house . They don’t take ownership of the homes , nor do they care who comes and stay . As long as there’s a bed . They all share , they also don’t do election votes if others h any get along . And where are the parties ?
Edit: ❗️This is for Belle Collective, I got confused on which video I was commenting on ❗️ Hi Rodney, it’s the way I don’t watch any of these shows but I stay caught up on your reviews 😭 On a more serious note: I really wish you’d stop using that ableist slur. Aside from being offensive, it makes you appear dated and lower than you are. I know you’re intentional with your words which makes it hurt even more :/ There are far too many words in this language to continue to use one that demeans a group of individuals 🩵
I feel like we shouldn’t be referring to people with intellectual disabilities as slow or delayed period. The words are inherently problematic. I for one use slow when I’m referring to people and their lack of common sense, but I don’t use it in public spaces because I know how people will feel and where we as a society are at with their usage..
@@RodneyThaVoice Hi Rodney again I love and care for you so much. I had to rewind because I’m so serious when I say I don’t know these people, I just love hearing you talk 😭 It was the beginning when you were talking about Cliff being “delayed” “slow” and the “r slur” The second watch through I was skimming so I can’t find a time stamp but it was in regards to Cliff. It just hurts my heart bad when you use those words especially the slur because you’re better than that. Edit ofc I find it after this comment: Time Stamp 6:35 the slur was said and in the beginning about a minute in you referred to him as delayed and slow
@@abena2881 I don’t know what show you’re referring to, but no one on this show is named “Cliff” and your timestamp is incorrect. Please get your facts straight.
