Face off issues and rule changes...have hurt the game...best lacrosse...1989-2004...it's been going down quality wise since...why cause everybody wants to play like "there the man, there the it factor"
@@barclaydonaldson8863 a lot of players play super selfish and it's not right. What I am talking about is the gear we use and how it has made the game safer so we can keep playing it.

Out of curiosity, what effect do the textured balls have on the goalie's skin? Is it nothing? Are they getting "rug burn"? Is it something more? If the shots are going to be harder, will they finally mandate more equipment? Asking as a goalie mom.
I'm not sure how to test that without having a test dummy. However yes they will go faster apparently straighter but most of the newer balls are much softer for what it means.
@@ECD Thank you for the quick reply. It's just a part of reviews I notice in general, the lack of thought on the impact on the goalie. Faster & straighter plus softer means the same for the goalie.
So why textured? What is the benefit? Is the idea to get that straighter, faster shot, and mentioned about the hex? Never heard of a textured ball before. I would guess that a good side spin would cause goalies havoc.
More grip, more aero dynamics to the ball. A real advantage is still unknown but I think its super cool to see companies testing the limits on changing the ball.

The Mirage is for any offensive player, Attack or Middy. But that doesn't mean it can be used at LSM or even D mid some players may want that light weight head with a tight face shape.
At 5:07 he says you can put some curve on the ball if you want.why are we making it hard enough on goalies? Its already hard enough to play the last thing we need is players throwing Nolan Ryan level curveballs at us
