Hi there, agreed! I’m a sports sedan guy, but after I had to return this car, I was thinking to myself something like this is way more versatile than any sports sedan since it can handle as good as if not better than most, and it has more cargo capacity and sits higher.
Yeah... I'm all for progress, but that shift "lever" is going to take some getting used to. Realistically, no worries for me, I am happy with my Macan.
Agreed, it took a lot of getting used to and I found myself reaching for the wiper stalk sometimes (more common on Mercedes vehicles!). Macan is good, and I personally prefer a physical shifter knob myself. 👌🏻
Hi Sierra, thx for dropping a comment. Do you dislike the interior touches? I did find the shifter very weird, and kept operating the wiper stalk (like on Benzs) instead at times when changing gears.
@@forevr_8 it just feels like there was a bit of cost cutting, the steering wheel has better button placement but more plasticky, and there's more gloss black where it used to be leather. I'm also not a fan of getting rid of the tach, turnkey start, and central shifter.
