Wow, that is a really huge IFE screen. 787 cabin looks new, roomy. Love the Boeing Sky Interior too. I hope to fly Turkish to also make my own judgement. But your flight looks great.
Great review! I really loved the Economy Class seat design on TK's newer aircrafts. They definitely did a great job in their service especially their onboard catering. Loved their attention to details especially the design of their amenity kits! :)
Nice review! Tk has definitely one of the best products out there. I was supposed to fly on their 787 as well, but my trip got cancelled because of the covid19. Anyway, great stuff! Keep it up! (hope you don't get an 8yo fighter on your next flight) ;)
Brilliant review man! TK always excels in catering as far I've experienced and seen. Haven't flown them in a while but they seem to have improved even more especially with the new IST airport!
@@nycflyertravel, is it illegal for the United 737 that you took last time from EWR to Orange County to have cramped seats in economy class or it isn't illegal? Is it also illegal for United to not serve complimentary entrees in coach class when the price is high or it isn't illegal? Just want to make sure!
Thanks for a great video and review! I agree with you fully, TK is a five star airline. I would like to add, how well they execute their boarding both at JFK and IST.
I was on their new short distance economy and they served the same food and the new seats for short flights was comfortable too. The crew had the new uniform

Wow ! What a beautiful and enthusiastic review ! I loved it from start to finish. Reference possessed 8 year old, I would have personally given 1 stern warning to the child and Mother. There is zero reason to tolerate such bad behaviour.

@@nycflyertravel I actually flew on the Turkish Airlines 787-9 Dreamliner from LAX-IST (Yup my prediction from 2 years ago was correct!) and the service was great! Love the 787!

Really liked your video. I wish Turkish took the opportunity to get rid of their A330s. They still fly one of those to Dhaka, Bangladesh. Almost all the competitors in and out of Dhaka fly more state of the art aircrafts.
Is there no more hot towel service? Also they used to have snacks in the galley between meals. You did not mention them so I was wondering if they no longer offer that. Did you like the new airport?
I fly with them regulary once in a month (usually domestic). In domestic it's 15kg, they've never wanted me to pay for 16. But I always paid, if it's more than 16.
That was a flight from Washington, the word capital of public influencers. It would have been a huge risk not to provide a top notch service in terms of reputation and publicity. In other flights TA is not so impressive.
LOL out of control 8 year old........its good that the flight was probably 8 hours long....compared to Qatar/Emirates/Saudi flights 14 hours across the Atlantic and the Mediterranean. Edit: tell little bit about the Istanbul airport...I heard the people there are not very welcoming .....dont try to speak anything but Turkish....and the transits are too short ....people have to start running from the disembarkation point. are these true?
It sure felt like it was 14 hours... Yeah the new Istanbul airport is massive which can make transits difficult. Everyone spoke English though and I thought they were nice. I posted a video on TKs Business Class where I talk a little bit more about the airport situation.
Yeah, one reason I choose AF or KL instead of QR or EK from IAD to Asia is my fear of young mafia passengers near me in cattle class. Which often happens but not as bad as your experience. Which is why I'm not a teetototaler: I ask for more wine to relax my nerves so as to not murder misbehaving children. Anyway, thanks for the review on an airline that I've yet to try.
