This is a vey good detector! I have one and have added a 5" Gold Finder search coil and it's a coin killer! Can purchase both from AliExpress. As mentioned this is a clone of the Teknetiks G2, Fisher Gold Bug Pro & Bounty Hunter Time Ranger Pro. The circuit board inside actually says Teknetiks. As she mentions turn machine on to the 12:00 position and hold GG button down and pump coil up and down to ground balance. I use disc mode and run it up to 55. Nickles ring up at 56. Dimes -79-80, Quarters -80-81, zinc pennies 69-71, copper pennies 74-78. MY GOLD rings ring up from 62-68. Happy hunting!
This one reminds me of the T2 sounds end all.. looks like a great detector for real.. if I had money and I have always wanted to try out a T2 this one is so close in looks and possibly every thing else..
Hi Dan. Hope you are doing well. This one really impressed me to be quite honest! I have the Bounty Hunter Time Ranger Pro which has the same exact panel and features as the G2 and Fisher F19 which was basically identical to this one. I am sorry I bought the Bounty Hunter Time Ranger Pro now because it cost me over $400! I could have just bought this one for $179.99-$189.99 instead and this one also comes with headphones and a duffle bag. This metal detector is awesome and such a bargain for all it's features!! Once I learn how to use it properly by reading the manual, it will be a total beast out in the field. Looking forward to detecting with it. I heard this one also takes Fisher F19, Fisher Goldbug and Teknetics G2 coils too so you can swap them out!
It's exciting waiting for a new detector to arrive. I love this one. It is made really well and does a good job. I hope you enjoy it. Let me know what you found after you get it.😊
@@progressivepondkeeping i have intention to buy it..but keep thinking about what it can do best and what bad of it..with your info and others reviews...soon i will have one..
Really? I have to take it outside again and check that. It was working for me in all metal mode when I took it out 2 months ago. Could yours be malfunctioning? Maybe you are right. if that is true, that is lousy.
@@FuturesPast1 In all metal you hear the signal of the target. I will buy those days but i see a lot of test of this detector and i like it a lot.Fisher gold bug work the same like TX-850 . Clone shoud work like original i think.
@@myhobbybg3777 When I used it in the demonstration I liked it. The only problem is I barely got a chance to use it since I got it. I have to test it out again real soon. It's hard to get out and go detecting because I don't have a car and cannot go anywhere to use it except my yard which has been picked over a thousand times.
I just ordered this machine and I'm curious if you have used it since this video? I was hoping to find someone that speaks English to watch use it. Lots of videos but none I can understand(Save 1- Detecting Somerset) and he didn't really go into set-up....
I'll be honest. I have not used it much since the video. I am housebound with no car so I cannot get anywhere to try it out in the field. I can't really use it in my yard because it has been picked over 100s of times. From what I see, it is very well made and during my demonstration it appeared to work well. If it is $130 or less on sale, it beats mostly all the other beginner detectors out there in my opinion. It is very similar to some of the much more expensive name brand Fisher machines and is extremely sturdy. The other cheaper Chinese beginner machines are not nearly half as well built as this one. If I get out of the house and can use it anytime soon, I will film a video of it in the field. Until then it is sitting in my closet collecting dust with all the others. As far as durability and how long it may last, I have no clue because I barely got a chance to use it. Another machine I highly recommend is the Goyiki. It is only a one tone machine, but in my opinion it worked better than this one and was more enjoyable. I did some videos using the Goyiki if you want to look it up. Just type in Goyiki Metal Detector on the RU-vid search and you will find my videos.
Hi there with the tianxun metal detector, if you put discrimination to 60, will it eliminate all iron , I just brought the same one, but with name is kkmoon tx850 it doesn’t eliminate all iron please let me know if the one you have does it eliminate or iron on 50 or 60 thanks
I wish I could answer your question, but without my permission my husband took all my metal detectors away and put them in storage. I have no access to my machine to check, but I think you can set it to avoid iron.
@@FuturesPast1 it’s okay I went to a spot on the beach. It’s high mineralise ground a lot of hot rocks. It works great just have to the put the gain down a bit detector is and I found out about the discrimination. It’s good to still pick us up some iron but good for the price tx850
@@keepdigginmetaldetecting Do you have the G2? I always wanted to try the Teknetics T2. Do you have other detectors? If so which ones? What are your favorites?
The smaller the object the less it picks up a signal. For small items like coins and rings, probably 6-8 inches. For larger metal items possible 10-12 inches.
@@FuturesPast1 Sweet ! I'm thinking of maybee trying it out but not sure yet... I really like your fishnet over your hands 🙂 looks nice ! Pretty touch ..
@@zerxkydc532 This is a great detector. It is very well built. I am a burn survivor so I wear the hooker gloves to hide the scars, lol😁😂. Sorry But I have a dark sense of humor to be laughing at my own tragedy. Take care and have a great day.
Das hättest du freundlicher erklären können. Tatsächlich bist du ein Kommentar-Nazi. Ich dachte immer, die Deutschen seien nettere Menschen als die Amerikaner. Ihr seid alle eine harte menge, lol 😂😁
