Another top drawer meal! You could tell as soon as you gave the the lamb a little press that it was still nice and tender, and everything looked really good. Prawns with that sauce looked superb as well, plus a nice bread to mop it all up. A well deserved 10/10👍🏼

Some people think Turkish food is only bread under meat, bread wrapped around meat or bread on top of meat, it’s not, they also have bread next to meat !

Love olives, especially with pimentos inserted! Those King prawns looked very fine indeed! The way the main dish was presented looked to good to eat! What a picture of care and attention in every detail, not just thrown on a plate, looked delicious, sounded delicious with your usual succinct review! Another fine video, keep 'em coming Gary!

My favourite restaurant near where I live is Hattusa. They also have a takeaway place in Sevenoaks further down the road. Amazing place and I’m glad you enjoyed it Gary

Our favourite Turkish place in London went out of business a couple of years ago. We've had a hard time finding comparable, but we keep "giving it a go".

Sometimes it's hell having to sit here and watch you enjoy these superb meals Gary! This was obviously a mega-delight. A 9.5.

Olives are a lovely light appetiser and I too can polish off a bowlful in no time, especially if marinated well. Your prawns looked so good too. In fact all the food looked delicious. That was a well balanced kebab plate and was well cooked and presented. Turkish food is great when good, and that was extra nice! I'll join you with that 10/10 and hope I'll be able to find one of the branches one day.

Those prawns with the homemade bread looked fantastic and the main looked delicious too.

Turkish food is best ME food in my opinion. Turkey with part of it being in Europe is actually fattest country in Europe go figure. There is lots of fat and fat is flavor

The decor is lovely. It looked like cuneiform writing on the walls, very clever idea. The shrimp dish reminded me of a Spanish shrimp and garlic meal we enjoy. It all looked so delightful! Enjoyed watching you wreck that meal😋.

Wow. Of all the places you've reviewed, Hattusa has to be in the running for the most appetising looking (Mr Cameraman did an especially great job here.) Not cheap but even without actually tasting it I could tell from your reactions while actually tucking in and your summing up at the end that it was worth every penny. Hattusa is now firmly at the top of my 'must give it a go' list. Thanks Gary and Co.

£25 for a plate of kebabs is fair value for money but definteky not cheap. Surprised at the perfect ten. I would have expected a 9.5 based on previous reviews. As long as you enjoyed it though, it's all good.

Turkish is not my favourite Gary but that looked lovely. Meat looked perfect and presentation was great. Who doesn't like King prawns in garlic butter 😋

Ambiance, service and food seemed top notch. It's difficult for cuisines from the Eastern Mediterranean to pull off rare/medium-rare lamb; it's very unusual in their culture.

Sorry, Gary, not in the best of shape today. But from what I saw, except from the fact that I can't eat the prawns, I would give it a 10 out of 10 as well. As a pescatarian, I would be happy to see you review more fish dishes. Got to say, I was the same with olives. Couldn't abide by them most of my life but have come to appreciate them in the last few years.

Hi Gary I live in Bodrum Turkey,I eat out quite off,that meal looks as nice as any restaurant I go to, and the prices are good for the set meal.

Love a bit of Sevenoaks !! Lots of restaurant choices. What a superb interior. Really like places like that. You can see the kitchen and nice comfy seats. Good call having the prawns !!! No surprise Gary had the mixed meats for main. Olives are not my favourite 😕 Those prawns looked delicious and so did the Turkish bread. Plenty of prawns and sauce. Not stingy .Amazing starter for £8 ! That kebab looked absolutely perfect. Lots of meat. Cooked perfectly. The adana is EXACTLY how I want it but rarely get it. I love bulgar wheat. Salad looked nice and fresh. This is a 10 out of 10 place if ever I saw one ! Another superb location and an excellent review.

I worked and lived in Turkey during four years, I enjoyed the time I spent there enormously and most especially the food. Your meal at Hattusa was so genuine that it made my mouth water and has tempted me to book a flight to the UK just to eat there. One question Gary: why are you drinking water? No Turkish meal is complete without a glass or two of Rakı. It's like olives once you have tried it there is no goiing back. So when you next try another Turkish restaurant I will expect to see you with a glass of Rakı. Keep up the good work.

It's great to see your going to more and more restaurants with no service charge. 10/10 . Avoid service charge It's a licence to ripping people of with bad to average service. I take on board what you told me it was not compulsory. I really never knew that. So you live and learn. I really appreciate your efforts to bring us a variety of restaurants and food 😋. That looked sooo good Gazza. The olives 🫒 made in house. Prawns in lemon garlic chilli butter looked amazing. Prawns 🍤 were cooked beautifully. Main dish was visually appealing and cooked well. Hi Gary, good to see you again ! Even in Sydney, the Turks are the unsung food heroes. Bread, meat, seafood, salad, dessert, what amazing value for money, and what quality. One can make the argument that there's no need to eat anywhere else but at a Turkish restaurant ! My brother lives in England, not far from Cambridge, and there's a large Turkish restaurant in his neighbourhood, and he and his partner love eating there. Auburn is the place to go in Sydney, but it's almost impossible to find parking. I guess, that's the tale of every city these days. Those 5 prawns with bread for 7.95 is a meal in itself. Food looked amazing Gary 👌🏽💯 Just my kind of food 👍🏾 My Nan gave me an olive as a kid and I hated it. In my teens I discovered olives 👌🏽love the varieties of them. As for bulgar,the same discovered it in my teens and actually prefer it to rice. 😊 A definite 10/10 🔥

Hiya,well you done it again a fantastic find and seems to be worth the bus fair. Lovely interior. Somewhat stark,almost minimalist,but bright, crisp straight lines, filmed brilliantly by CTP. The food left me drooling 🤤 Prawns & broth(more than just a sauce) like you, could have just had them with the bread😊😊 the prawns looked lush&juicy. The meaty mains( with added salad) all items were cooked to perfection and treated with respect by the chef😊 The prices in this day&age were ridiculous 😮 a total bargain. A great video Gary ( and CTP ) but we expect that now. You have set yourselves a high bar. Creating sound, solid content, and giving fair honest reviews ❤😊 Cheers Allan&Family

Mixed grill looked really good. I usually judge a Turksih Restaurant by it's Chicken shish. Is it moist, how is it served, what are on the side. I always look to see if they have Kuru Fasulye, Ezogelin Corbasi and Lahmahcun. Your restauran had one of these and I am always shocked by the price. In Turkey these are the staple foods found in Restaurants and are cheap. Especaily the Lahmacun, I used to enjoy 2 Lahmahcun with some Ezogelin Corbasi (soup) with a bill of less than £3.00 But that was in the early 2000s.

Well, I can see your Perfect 10 rating. I would probably agree with you provided that some pointers are explained. The prawn starter. Absolutely no problem, it looked superb and I would willingly kill if someone stopped me from having it. The Mains. All in all, the dish looked fantastic - for me, that simply cannot be negatively criticised. However, I have to ask, how spiced / charcoaled was the meat ??? I'm asking because I love Turkish, but places by me, the meals taste bland. If it's bland, then all the other stuff on the plate only adds blandness to it. Sauces ???? were they really any good and I'd certainly like a selection to reduce the overall meal 'dryness' I'd no doubt "Give this place a try'
