Now I understand why EVERYONE was doing Dalla Dalla and the same singing songs I was so confused about that lmao. It's great to hear a real perspective of a real contestant of the show
@@richeetje6142 how do u expect anyone to know that from “now I understand why everyone was doing dalla dalla and the same singing songs I was so confused about that” like come on
As much as I agree, obviously they wouldn't do something like that because the girls would get clowned and made fun of on the internet for the rejection + no one wants to experience that sort of public humiliation
I love that unlike in America which thrives off drama and putting people down, they kept it positive and didn’t show anyone being heavily meanly criticized
@@louisevillar4729for real imagine felix got eliminated for being bad at Korean just for jyp to host another survival show full of English speakers HAHAHHA
i don't have a daughter, but if i do i would be so proud for even daring to compete in such a fiercely competitive environment. i do think the unedited acapella should be broadcast in finale round because the vocal quality would be very high and ready for broad audience listening without autotuning and what not. i do love the choreo dancing which is a very smart concept to showcase as a separate component from singing because singing can be coached to higher level later for these young girls but dancing is harder to improve while trying to improve vocal at the same time once they're selected by the agency.
I think there’ll professional who choose them first then the ones they choose will go through him and if he acknowledges them, they’ll be a trainee. It’s given because there’s so many participants.
Yeah they showed the footage on the show of the audition waiting room. It was crowds of people each stop. I was confused as to why we only saw a few people but I kinda love that they did that
The three girls shown in the first episode are now three of the members of the new girl group from A2K! It's called VCHA, along with the other final contestants from the show (KG, Kaylee, Savanna).
6:47 Wait filters?! Damn I didn't even know that was a thing thx u sm. All this time I was wondering how all the teenagers skin could look extermley clean when my scars and acne look horrendous 😂
I was wondering the same thing. But then i realized they had filters bc there was a part where they forgot to add the filter back to one of the girls for like 3 seconds
3:13 he is famous but mostly in SK and to like older people nowadays most of us know him as twices father or owner of jyp or the producer 5:26 That makes sense now thanks! Now all the girls that got a pendant will sing and dance but honestly they all seem amazing
Totally agree with you 7:15 I was wondering why they did that, I mean, when we are watching a show like this we'd like to see the natural voices and how much the contestants evolved through the show to increase the quality like this? Unecessary
so all of the girls know how to sing and dance? i thought how they showed them was the only thing they could do omg thats why i was wondering if so and so could sing/dance in the bootcamp omg
yes! everyone has to sing and dance to 4 things. they just cut it for time 🩷 that’s why I really liked episode 2 because they showed the dancing and singing.
I guess many foreigners didn’t know but all Koreans know you don’t go directly to JYP lol. All Korean big auditions with top companies or tv shows are like that. JYP would be wasting so much time with ones who have no talent at all.
You are so pretty and you seem so nice!❤️ Never give up on your dream! Their loss for not getting you accepted. I would love to see as a future video your singing audition❤️
I'm kinda disappointed that I didn't hear the girls sing to Miss A, Wonder Girls, Day6, and 2PM and 2AM songs. Like JYP ent is not just Itzy, Twice and Stray Kids. Huhu
Oh my I thought you were the contestant with the guitar at first, beautiful, blonde wavy hair, blue eyes, who was a contestant, I was like “wait a minute is this legal?”😭
I'm surprised you didn't make it. My guessing is JYP didn't see you. Because, at the angle you film, you look like JYP's new favorite Yuna of itzy. Edit: I forgot to say - Good job on your objectivity in the review.
When did they determine that you were not going to move through? Also did each contestant have to sing and dance or up to contestant? There are edit cuts, so not sure if they just cut parts out.
I’m going to talk about this in my next review 🩷 but each contestant needed to learn 2 dances (choice, freestyle) and a song (rap, song). they needed to sing a minimum of 1 in the first audition but if they interviewer liked you they would make you do all 4 which means you made it onto the show. So yes they cut parts out to make it shorter
it makes sense they don't want to include them, since this program wants to focus on the girls who made it, bc they are the ones that have changes to debut, this is not like the other survivals shows, this is a way of getting predebut content of the final group, so it doesn't make sense to include people who weren't selected. Basically this is like Nizi but with Americans instead of Japaneses
I think you have to watch another jyp project, because not all the people that got a chance to perform in front of jyp is actually going straight to the boot camp😢
They showed at least 2 girls that got to see JYP in other episodes and he turned them down. I would have loved to see you sing your audition song and dance your audition piece too. Or share how far you got. And what was your take away from experiencing that whole audition process. You have a beautiful voice. Thanks for keeping the video positive
How about you girl, what was your reflection to yourself why you didnt make it to LA? Just keep practicing more for opportunities in the future. Good luck.
@@deborahe9636 Umm..., Koreans in general from Korea or people who were brought up watching Korean advertising and marketing actually see men driving with sunglasses as very cool, especially if the man doesn’t talk. I would compare it to the 70-80’s Marborol man.
They prefer raw talents to who they can teach everything as it was said to one of the girl. They want to avoid all girls who may have bad habits as it’s harder to unlearn and relearn properly. Also they saw that people who were already great at what they’re doing, were less malleable, less motivated as well as they tend to rest on their laurels. They prefer younger contestants for that precise reason. They want to train them from start to the end, have the longest time possible to train them before their debut. That’s the korean system which makes it completely different than what western countries are used to.
