The same thing to asian owners who have non asian staffs. The owners must check the the food daily to make sure the taste is consistent. Asian and non asian chefs have different tastebuds.

bro im dying, those wings are made using char sui packets you find in the grocery store. i recognize that coloring instantly because my dad also likes to use that powder. its by no means bad in terms of taste, but it is by far from being good either

@@MrBud85 ya it does suck but you forgot the area its from is effectively the slums. cant expect much when you can only charge the lowest price to barely make a profit. my guess most of the money went to the cost and theyre only making like 20% profit margin vs the normal 40%

Pappy's Smokehouse is really good but, you've got to get there early as they sell out. It's the BBQ restaurant that was featured on Man's vs Food. I did mention it in a comment several days ago for him to go try it.
Generally any Asians can make damn good fried rice. Years ago I went to Tokyo, Japan with some friends and I had some of the best garlic fried rice I have ever tasted and their wagyu ribeye is top notch.

Peking braised ham hocks Deep fried duck with a cornbread coating Deepfried Mac and Cheese dumplings Mooncake with sweet potato pie filling (and icecream) Fried catfish with savory blackbean dipping sauce Buttered grit congee stew Mingloaf (pork shumai meat filling with lotus root, ginger, scallions, shrimp bits, and panko bread crumbs, shaped into a loaf, and baked with a teriyaki glaze on top) Chili Con Carne filled steamed manapua buns I don't know, honestly I kinda ran out of ideas, but you get the point. It actually kinda has potential, and I could see something crazy like this popping up in LA or something.
They didn’t even cook the onions LMAO. It looks like they tried to mimic salt and pepper chicken or something. Those onions need to be stir-fried a little to bring out a nice sweet flavor.

The rice is probably mushy because they didn’t use day old refrigerated rice. This only happens when you make fresh rice. Most Asian people don’t use fresh rice to make fried rice.
The thing is Chinese restaurants don’t do that, who has enough fridge space to store that much rice. This is a tip for home cooked fried rice because Chinese restaurants pretty much have jet engine stoves so the moisture in the rice evaporates very quick compared to your shitty induction

Tried Steller Hog today, spent $108 got two full racks of ribs, potato salad, beans, the cream cabbage.. and it was the best damn BBQ I had in 4 yrs of living here in STL..thanks for that! btw I would like you to try Mezcaleria Las Chupacabras for a review, Latin family owned, and DO NOT forget to try the Tres Leches cake, you won't be disappointed, until I found them, I had tried so many really foul and disgusting Mexican restaurants, charging a lot of money for really crappy cheap food.. and I know good Mex food.. my family owns Mexican restaurants back home in Colorado.

The last black restaurant i went to was 5 years ago, and i walked out before, i made my order, because i sat there for 20mins before i even got a menu, and after that, I sat there waiting another 20mins or so. So I got up and left. The food was really expensive for what you get. Also, unfortunately, the service in many black service owned restaurants is all around poor, and many of the workers seemed to have a nasty attitude right off the bat, and nobody wants to hear about their personal problems, they many loudly bring up. Just sayin.

They do when it involves a people that have historically been subjugated and only fairly recently (last 60 years) saw legal freedom and are still fighting for equity and equality despite massive gains in the social climate. When a people were used as a primary source of slave labor for hundreds of years, their successes in the country that enslaved them matter a lot more to people who care.

I am black myself - and have got to say: on the very few occasions I have gone to a Chinese restaurant where my people were in charge of cooking - the food never tasted right and those restaurants always wound up closing down 😝😂
Those 'goons and sandwich look pretty good. I appreciate the amount of filling they had and the crab... sometimes it can be too much. The rice looks like instant rice. I'd try it just for the goons tho.
