That's why we should never trust online reviews. Try is once, it it's not for you, move to the next. You can't trust a Yelp review, people are bugging and there are also fake reviews by the competition.
@@TheOriginalArchiethe reason for it is the more popular a chain is the more they fry in burnt oil. The chances of having food fried in fresh oil are lower at crowded spots. As they filter and re-use the oil for a week. If they sell less the oil will still be great at the end of the week.
@@TheOriginalArchiein short. If you see a long line never buy there. You will most likely have horrible quality food. By the time it's your turn you will get the taste of burnt oil in your mouth. Always go where it is less crowded. The other reason is the fact that the staff is most likely rushing to get the food done.
the mozz sticks were the only appealing food of the video. Everything looked like was frozen product (including the mozz sticks). $40 for a ton of frozen/fried food. Sweet.
The more their building is falling apart, the better the food. At least, that's what I've noticed for burger joints. I guess it's true with chicken joints too.
I noticed people up north tend to get stuck on mom and pop business that were once good and don't try anything else because then they have to go out of their comfort zone.

Crown fried chicken is a staple in the hood over here in Rhode Island and they don’t miss at all. The fries aren’t soggy over here because they purposely open the lid slightly so that condensation doesn’t build up in the box. Never knew there was mozzarella on the menu! Looks busting. Great video!
Daym, Always going to joints shortly after they open, before lunch rush. You get everything super fresh, before oil gets dirty, and employee attitudes built up yet.
I knew it was the Crown chicken in Bridgeport as soon as the first review said it was across the street. In that Area, you got Crown, KFC, Popeyes and Wingstop. Crown is the last placd i would ever go
Ay Daym Drops! This is a great review and one of the funniest! I wish Maryland had a Crown Fried Chicken! We have Hip Hop Chicken & Fish down here though and Churches! Ever had one of those?
Crown Fried Chicken is a chain that's not really a chain, in that we have a few of them up here in central Massachusetts. You're right in that they give you a ton of fries, but they're not great. I didn't think they were as terrible as you made them out to be. But the chicken is amazing. All of the ones around here have those Jamaican beef patties, but I've never seen sweet potato pie.
It says this Crown Fried Chicken is permanently closed on my apps and only lists locations in MA on their website. Might be why it has no traffic on their Yelp page.

We got a Crown FC in Middletown NY. I’ve been through the entire menu, everything very good. The lamb and chicken over rice with salad, white sauce and a touch of hot sauce is my go-to. Good food at a great price. There’s a chain of these place. Enjoy!
I used to love Crown's chicken box with salt pepper ketchup in NJ. Its not like a A1 place where you expect some UH-MAZING food. It was one of those staples you walk down the street to get when you want a quick bite of some good chicken.
And the tables turn. I do love it when Daym eats s*** food though. I love Daym but the reactions on the bad stuff is what has kept me in the Foodie Fam.
Daym you might have to try that other best rated spot because that best spot was terrible 😭😭😭 that crown chicken looks good them fries was lacking big time tenders looked good too

Never had a problem with Crown, it's a typical "hood spot" NOT the best nor the worse but always clutch!!! You learn quick about the fries and the can sodas!!! 😂😂😂
