My coach always tells me to move my hands and put pressure into the pole with my shoulders but everything I’ve seen says nothing about it, who should I listen to?
The first review was extremely helpful for me because I'm pretty much identical to that guy, our jumps looks so similar. My pr is 13 6 right now and I'm having the exact same problem of struggling to drop my shoulders. I'll think about your advice of bringing my legs to my arms and see how it goes next practice. Hey, Shawn. I'm a first year vaulter jumping 12' but I have many issues that I still need to fix. My trail leg always curls up immediately after takeoff and my bottom arm collapses almost to my head every jump. I can swing decently when going from my 3 step but otherwise I never had any success. Any tips?
