He's actually singing. No fake backing track. Just real vocals. TOTAL RESPECT. I love this band and wish they'd come back. Yes, they put out a couple new songs recently, but no album and no shows. I respect and support what Justin is doing professionally.
I remember hearing Caught In The Rain for the first time when I was 9, I was instantly hooked. I still listen to this album regularly, so good. Thank you for sharing this!
you dont understand how INSANE this band was. it was music that ive never heard before and i barely discovered them 2 years ago. their music, the songs, the whole album is a complete masterpiece. its crazy how the band didnt pop off. maybe the music theyve played was a niche. its kinda heart breaking that we will probably never find music like this anymore since artists nowadays have to progress and adapt to the time and new generation. if i could go back in time i would so ask the band to produce more albums.
Places for Breathing was one of the best rock albums to come out of the early 2000s. Lightning in a Bottle. Band in that format and lineup was fairly short-lived, but what a killer killer record. Deserves a proper vinyl release 20 years later. Next month will be exactly 20 years since it came out.
Places for Breathing was such a magnificent album. So creative & deep. Excellent production too. It just sounds amazing. I’d really love to hear why they broke up. Was having “Caught in the Rain” as a movie title soundtrack so early in their debut part of it? What the hell happened? Their music was seemingly destined for many albums of success. Anybody know what really happened for such a brightly burning star to go dormant almost overnight???
They had a new album ready to go but their label dropped them is the short story. But it's much longer and more complicated than that. Reality is that this was the early 00's and labels were basically having a fire sale with anything that even resembled music from the late 90's early 2000's. Revis could have been massive based on the quality of their first album alone but they received no support or promotion whatsoever.
No..... Just seen 😮them about a month and a half ago back in Southern Illinois live. Great. Look it up Revis Herrin fest 2024. They were also in either Louisville or Bloomington and it's somewhere on RU-vid.
People don’t understand that you can put reverb and delay on vocals live?? Lol it’s not a recording They sell pink baby microphone sets for toddlers that literally have delay and echo on them…. And people think this can’t be done on a stage?? So dumb The dude has a ridiculous vocal range and people are just trying to cope because they themselves and their favorite artists can’t actually sing live 😂
