It was a major cock block of not seeing the actual impact of the blast breath and nomini hyouga and the snappyness was missing in Robin's attack too on those 3 girls

I agree, the next episode preview looks promising. I hope so given we're entering my personal favorite Tobi Roppo fight this arc.

They did Franky dirty this episode. I was hoping that at least all the Strawhat finishers should have the best animation possible, but I agree with your assessment that they rushed his fight. Hopefully the meat of the Black Maria vs Robin fight will be supremely well animated. Very curious as to when we see the return of Megumi Ishitani, especially since it's been roughly six months since her last episode. My guess has always been that, given her love for dinosaurs, her next episode will be when 1022 or 1023 are adapted, but that remains to be seen.

i thought this ep was fine, definitely could have been better but it wasn't bad. next week's ep looks really damn good tho, looking forward to it

Really liked this episode personally. Yamauchi's direction really elevated it beyond what it would be otherwise.

loved this episode but some scenes were too off, the fire breath clash between kaido and yamato wasn't shown and Robin's Tres Mano Freesia looked harmless and weak

The Yamato fight scenes actually seemed incomplete at parts. Yamato shoots ice crystals at nothing and a potential beam clash is cut away from. The episode ended abruptly without a real point being made regarding Robin’s past. To me this is very poor adaptation and maybe the worst episode in all of Wano if not the entire series.

I dont mind filler if it's this well directed, I absolutely loved this episode ❤️
