The fact that nicki's album can stand the test of time. It's like yr listening to her music for the first time everytime you go back. You dont get that energy with most of these new female rappers . In my opinion . Nicki's music never gets old periodtt.

Also, I love how you guys pointed out that in the album, she barely talked about sex, maybe only on Super Bass. So it was really only her image that was sexualized, not really her content.

This is the best album review (revisit) that I've seen. The way that you both appreciate and identify many overlooked elements of her songs is soooo dope! Also, the video was edited perfectly. Y'all dropped a lot of gems on this video and made me appreciate this album even more than I did. This is still the epitome of a female rapper's debut album.

Watching this in 2022, I am still blown away by the nostalgia of this album. I think we all felt the same way when we first listened to this album..the feeling that Nicki Minaj was so inventive for the time period. Pink Friday showcases her trailblazing in action. I see so much of her in other notable artists like: Doja Cat, Megan Thee Stallion, Cardi B, even Beyonce's rapping style is very reminiscent of Nicki Minaj (think last verse on "Heated" from Renaissance). Plus countless others that I can't think of at this moment.
