I decided two give a product a quick try on the campervan to see if it could improve the performance, overall I'm pretty impressed TBH, throttle response and acceleration seems to have increased in lower gears, and the van seems to pull every so slightly better.

Nice Vid I fitted a new Turbo to my 1.9 T5 and then had it re maped to 140 BHP I now get 650 miles to a tank and I can travel at 70 mph at 2500 RPM Best Regards Dave, Jo and Louie 👍😀🐾

My T5.1 goes into limp mode now n then only on start up.Then fine after turning engine off for 1 minute. Would this help.?

As I'm not at all mechanically minded I enjoyed this vid now livin in my Vdub I'm getting interested in the engine side of the van and that air freshener looks cool 🚐😜

If only you believe... don't kid yourself. To clean the intake manifold it is necessary to remove it. Then you can scrap most of the carbon build up out. The next step is to get a air compressor with a blow gun. mount a copper tube to gun. The tube needs to be several feet long. With a 90 degree bend in the end. Place manifold in a secure manner with the intake opening to the bottom. (Remove the EGR valve first). Get a gas torch and point torch into the lower opening. This will ignite the carbon. Once the carbon is lit spray air into opening. Flames will rise from intake runners. Burn until all the carbon has been consumed. Use a long flex able wire brush to finish cleaning inside of manifold. Pull rest of intake system to clean. Once it is clean you can run spray cleaners every 25k of so. I have 2000 vw Golf 1.9L TDI with over 400K on it. Just went through this dance. Intake manifold was 40% blocked.

I wouldn’t personally do what you did. I followed the instructions to the letter and my 1.5 dci pulls like a tank now . To me the stuff worked brilliantly. Stick to what they say to do..

I have loss of power when over 70mph think its some sort of build up do you recommend this to clear it

So it depends really on what is causing it, if it's sticking parts or a sticking turbo vanes then this could help, but be very wary of using things like this on engines with issues or problems as it may strain it and make it worse.. What vehicle do you have?
